The park itself features outdoor recreation opportunities, a picnic area with grills, and a camp store with RV supplies, camping gear, park merchandise, firewood, ice, and snacks. Other campground amenities include restrooms and showers, a dump station, and WiFi.The campsites at East Jordan Tourist Park feature full hookups, picnic tables, and fire rings. Electrical service is 30/50 amp. Sites are back-in only, and trash and recycling are picked up daily. The Great Outdoors

You’ll have plenty to play with right at the East Jordan Tourist Park, where you’ll be staying when you camp in an RV near East Jordan. The park itself features lake and beach access, a playground, a pavilion, a picnic area with grills, restrooms, and a camp store. Recreational activities include swimming, boating, fishing, tennis, basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, water skiing, kayaking, and canoeing. Boats and gear are available for rent nearby. Enjoy the great outdoors and a great sense of community at this municipal park and tourist destination.Near Charlevoix, Fisherman’s Island State Park is another great way to experience the great outdoors with your East Jordan camper rental. This park was named for an island, but the island no longer exists due to continued lower water levels. It is now a peninsula with six miles of unspoiled shoreline, rolling dunes, maple and birch trees, and plenty of native wildflowers. There is also a three-mile foot trail, a picnic area with grills and tables, and vault toilets. Other recreational activities here include hiking, hunting, snowmobiling, and nature observation. Enjoy nature’s majesty while marveling at the changes that have taken place over thousands of years.You can also visit the St. Clair Lake-Six Mile Lake Natural Area when you are RV camping at the East Jordan Tourist Park Campground. This protected 192-acre area offers a long stretch of undeveloped shoreline as well as cedar wetlands, marshes, forests, fields, and uplands. Otters, minks, great blue herons, belted kingfishers, and bald eagles make their homes here. This is a haven for native flora and fauna, and there is much to explore. The area also offers a boardwalk, an overlook, and a trail. Other recreational opportunities here include canoeing and kayaking, picnicking, and nature viewing and photography. Exploring the Area

East Jordan, where you’ll be enjoying campsites at the East Jordan Tourist Park Campground, rose to prominence as the home of the East Jordan Iron Works, which is still an international leader in its niche. Today, the East Jordan Visitor Center features exhibits about the history and growth of the company. Other local attractions include Jordan Valley Glassworks, which is a working art studio with a range of offerings, and Castle Farms, which is a French Renaissance-style castle built in 1918 and listed on state and national registries of historic places. Castle Farms’ museum-quality collections include castle and royalty memorabilia, antique toys, a model railroad, and the castle’s own dragon. Visit the East Jordan Chamber of Commerce for the latest in local news and events as you get ready to spend some time in this lovely town.Nearby Traverse City is also well worth a visit with your rental motorhome near the East Jordan Tourist Park Campground. It is a destination with plenty to do both outdoors and indoors, day and night. Some of the highlights include the charmingly named Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, the former mental asylum-turned-upscale-development now known as Grand Traverse Commons, and the Interlochen Center for the Arts. You’ll also find wineries, coffeehouses, farmers’ markets, galleries, performance venues, and much more. This city is sophisticated and diverse without losing a friendly, small-town feel. Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. Depending on where you plan on camping, you’ll want to double-check the availability of restrooms if selecting a rig without a bathroom. Nervous about renting an RV with a bathroom? Owners can help show you how to clean the tank or will offer to do it for you for a fee.

How does check-in work?

A.

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
