Camp Dearborn is a family-orientated recreational facility, owned and operated by the City of Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department. The Camp is located in picturesque Milford, approximately 35 miles northwest of Dearborn City Hall and conveniently located near many of southeastern Michigan's main attractions. Camp Dearborn offers a wide range of amenities for outdoor activity; a half-mile swimming beach, acres of shaded picnic sites, fishing, paddle boat rentals, Mystic Creek Golf Course with mini golf and opportunities for a choice of camping style. It also surrounded by a variety of wilderness areas and parks, including both Highland and Proud Lake State Recreation Areas. For a more private indoor event, the Chalet offers a kitchenette, restrooms, tables and chairs to seat up to 80 people. RV camping features full hookup sites and electric only sites. Full hookup sites include fire ring/charcoal grill combo and picnic table. Parking and Park admission for 2 cars, use of all facilities. Up to 6 people per site. Use of Comfort Stations located throughout the park. Pet-Friendly and Non-Pet-Friendly sites available.
Camp Turkeyville offers planned sites and modern facilities for RV campers. The lot size is 40x60 back in and 40x75 pull thru on 14 Beautiful Acres. They offerfull hook up on all sites includes: sewer-water-15amp, 30amp and 50amp electricity, 2 sparkling pools, kids splash park with walk in ramp, water toys and is perfect for anyone wanting to have a little fun and the other is perfect for lounging and swimming. Guests will enjoy the General Store that is stocked and ready for the season. It is fllled with treats for everyone; toys, RV supplies, ice cream, drinks and a few things you might have forgot to bring with you. The showers are clean and private. There are two family showers available. They have a laundry facility in the community building for your convenience. Free WI-FI is available throughout the resort. Recreational activities include Sand Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Horseshoes all within the resort so play anytime the mood strikes! Take your fishing pole and try your luck at the Fishing Pond. The kids can enjoy two different playgrounds. There is also a pavilion and picnic area. Have a picnic or just relax in the shade. The community room has tables, chairs, sink and TV.
Cottonwood Campground is a family owned and operated campground that has been in business for over 44 years. During that time they have developed an excellent reputation among RV campers for their friendliness, hospitality, and commitment to comfort.The Campground features over 145 sites the include 11 full hookup sites, 10 premium lake front sites, 89 water and electric sites (36 waterfront on their two ponds), and 35 primitive and rustic sites. They are a family friendly campground where everyone is welcome including family pets. The sites are very secure, peaceful, and serene. Lansing Cottonwood Campground is located at the edge of Michigan's beautiful capital city of Lansing, MI. They are located approximately 15 minutes from many sites including: The State Capitol, Michigan State University, Lansing Lugnuts Baseball Impression 5 Museum,Potter Park Zoo, Michigan's State Library & Historical Museum, Ken Hope Soccer Complex, and Several golf courses within 5 miles.
Hideaway Hills Family Campground in Battle Creek, Michigan has plenty to do! There are pull-through sites, and the setting in the rolling hills makes for a very peaceful place. The sites are nicely spaced from one another and each one has a picnic table. The pool is covered, and there is a pond and playground for kids to explore. The indoor rec room will keep you busy if the weather doesn't suit you. Outdoor activities abound! Borrow a boat and try to catch some fish in the pond. Play a round of disc (Frisbee) golf, or take a walk through the woods on one of the hiking trails. Hideaway Hills is just far enough out of town to be quiet, and enjoy the sounds of the woods. Battle Creek, Michigan is the birthplace of breakfast cereal, so pour yourself a quick bowl of breakfast in the place where it all started, and get out to explore this state.
