Meet your host, Happy Hooker Rental

Member since 2019

We love to go camping up and are happy to be able to share good times with friends and family around the camp fire. We have 3 dogs and kids who we drag along with us to our favorite spot, Papoose Pond in North Waterford, ME. We are renting our camper out so that others can also share great adventures and fun times with their families. And yes, my last name is Hooker, so ya got to have fun with it.

No more tenting it! Glamp out in comfort in this spacious travel camper. This has been our family camper since 2017. We have rented it to friends before but this is new to us renting out through this site. The main bedroom at the front has pocket doors to allow for privacy and has a queen size bed (upgraded mattress this season) for a great night sleep. There are 2 bunks which our kids usually sleep on and with a fold out couch and table area that converts for sleeping, there is room for 6 comfortably. The side bump out provides ample living space and with A/C, heat, fridge/freezer, stove, oven, bathroom and shower, it's like staying at an AirBNB in the woods. Packed with games, Smart TV, and an old school Nintendo NES, you'll be having fun no matter what the weather. With a bike rack for 3 and room inside to bring along outdoor rafts and toys you'll be able to have fun outdoors. The camper is packed with everything you'll need for a great camping trip (bedding, dinner ware, camp chairs, propane grill, easy up). We also provide common use items like soap, shampoos, TP, paper towels, etc. I prefer to deliver and setup the camper at the campground of your choice (delivery fee based on distance from Milford, NH and min of $90). Delivery/setup to campgrounds further than 60 miles from Milford, NH require a minimum of 3 nights rental. Sites Must have septic or nearby dumping station if you plan to use the bathroom or sinks.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What type of site do I need to book?
A.
To get the full glamping experience book a full-hookup site that has water, electric, and sewer. If you're only going for a weekend septic hookup isn't necessary as long as there is a dump station at the campground. If you're booking for 3 days+ then you need site with septic. In the summer a site with 30-Amp service is best to run the A/C. A 15-Amp site will work, but may end up tripping the circuit. You will need a site that can accommodate a 32' trailer with a single side bump out.

Q.Can you handle booking the site for me?
A.
Sure. Let me know which campground or area you want to go and I can arrange the booking and give you the info so that all you have to do is show up and relax.

Q.What if I made reservations and need to cancel or the weather is going to suck?
A.
Any refund from the campground site will depend on the campground's cancellation policy. As for the renting of our camper, as long as you cancel within 5 days of start date you will get a full refund. After that only a partial refund can be provided. If it looks like the weather is going to be bad, my suggestion is not to cancel. Many campgrounds offer activities and the camper is cozy, warm, and dry. Besides, it's New England and the weather can change quickly.

Q.Do you allow pets?
A.
We have 3 dogs that always go camping with us and love it. So your furry critters are welcome as long as you are responsible for them. Not all campgrounds allow pets. Those that do usually require proof of rabies vaccination and require them to be always on leash. We have 3 tie outs in the camper that you can use to hook up your pets outside. Please make sure to not let wet dogs make a mess with mud or getting couches all wet.
