Navi is a 2012 Nissan NV3500 HD van with a Roadtrek Nav6 / N6 Active camper conversion and pop top that rents out of Missoula, MT.Featuring shoulder belted seating for five that converts smoothly into two full sized, comfy beds, a powerful drivetrain and storage galore, Navi is the rig to ride when you want a roomier experience without the bulk and footprint of a big class B or RV.On road manners are impeccable for a van of this heft with comfortable seating, cruise, icy cold AC throughout, backup camera, bluetooth stereo and an overall smooth ride. The 5.6l V8 is felt and appreciated on the passes and also allows Navi to tow with little reduction in power. Load rated BFG K02 tires roll like butter over dirt roads in the summer and top of the line Blizzaks keep you on the road in the Winter.Load up the good stuff in Navi's deep pantry storage and dual fridges. LED puck lighting (12v), 12v and 120v outlets abound throughout the cabin. The two seater rear bench folds out to a very comfortable bed in two motions. Hit the button and up goes the electric pop top for tons of cabin head room and a great view from the bunk.More than ample rear storage and all this fits into a 20' overall length so you won't feel cramped and stressed when maneuvering.Navi has no built in toilet, shower or water tap, although 7gallon Aquatainer(s) and an emergency toilet are included.A top choice for a trip to Glacier, West Yellowstone or for a cruise anywhere in between this rig is a highway champion with soft road chops that will ride comfortably no matter where your road takes you.At Wanderlust AV we love to see our rigs out on long trips so take 10 for 10; that's 10% off the daily rate for any booking 10 days or longer.Fresh for the '23 Season- 200ah of modern, self heating lifepo4 battery power, running board delete for better clearance, fresh REI bedding & Rumpl blankets and a top of the line gasoline fired cabin heater! RecommendationsOur rigs are dialed in for front country tours mixed with extended backcountry romps. See a different side of Montana on your trip to Glacier or Yellowstone this time and take the fun way there & back again - you'll be glad you did!Other things to noteUp to 2 of your pups are welcome to come along on your adventure.Navi was originally a Roadtrek "N6 Active" or, sometimes, "Nav6". Its Roadtrek build is unique and has strengths, like the fabulous pop top and crash rated seating that folds down to an excellent bed, and weaknesses, like the built in galley & trim.
The built in fridge and microwave run on 120v (which uses more battery than 12v due to inverter use) and both are a-ok for light use when driving each day to recharge the battery bank but not suitable for boondocking. The 12v Dometic fridge is excellent for off grid stays and the entire 12v system in general is very efficient. The micro isn't super powerful and will have limited use on the house batteries but is good to go for popcorn, warming up coffee, etc. The bizarre factory fresh water system is disconnected but the equally strange, tiny sink can be used if you like and drains directly to exterior, no gray tank.
Navi charges via alternator- no solar or shore. Our rigs are highway and soft road drivers. They are not being rented to you for wheeling or mudding on unimproved trails or off road areas. Give approach and departure angles some consideration when easing into camp sites. Note that Navi is a RWD vehicle and has 6000lb/3ton curb weight.

On the way through Montana to Glacier NP, our RV broke down while we were spending several weeks traveling. We (Two adults, two preteen girls, and a medium size dog) rented the “Navi” while we left our rig to get fixed. Chris was super helpful in getting the Navi to us and explaining all the relevant features. He had us set-up with the rental and on our way pretty quick. The Navi is in great condition. Chris has it well equipped, as well. He’s a super nice guy to rent from and I would highly recommend him and the Navi. It worked well for our 6 days in Glacier NP.

The rental was spectacular! Chris was so great to work with. The van is clean and rides very nice…perfect for a family road trip. He set us up with everything we needed and took the time to show us how everything worked. We look forward to renting again one day!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pickup and dropoff at our location (10min from airport) is included and we can work with most pickup and dropoff times. Airport pickup and/or delivery are each available as an add on.

Q.What's it like to camp out of?
A.
Camping with Navi is like refined tent camping but in a hard sided, heated van. The kitchen is self contained and easily portable for scenic cookouts where your gorgeous site is the focus, not the van's interior. The chairs aren't big, lux and involved to setup but small and swift to deploy and stow. Water comes from a regular 'ol 7 gal jug. Setting up and tearing down camp is a breeze, the way it ought to be. This rig gets you to where you want to be so you can spend your time enjoying.

Q.Does this van have a toilet, shower, running water or AC?
A.
Nope! This Class B is more toward the van end of the spectrum than the RV side. It does have a strong gasoline fired cabin heater though and water jugs as well as an emergency toilet (uses WAG bags) are included.
