First Thing TO Know as it could save both of us time as you consider your options: I only allow the R-pod to be towed on paved roads (at least until you get to your campground). Apologies but...some bad experiences with renters in the past make this policy necessary.
This clean & cozy 2015 R-pod 172 is located in downtown Missoula. It’s light and easy to tow and the space is smartly designed.
With two spacious front bunks, two people can camp in style and comfort without ever converting the table. Convert the table and there's space for four people. It’s stocked with plenty of amenities including fitted sheets & pillow cases, tableware, plates / bowls / cups, basic cookware etc.
This R-pod has all the standard features except the microwave (replaced it with a bigger cabinet for more storage). Note: like most tow-behind campers, the air conditioner only runs on external AC aka "shore" power. I can send you with the power cord to hook it up, but to use it you'll need an electrical hookup at your campground or a generator with a 30amp outlet (I don't have one of those).
The R-pod is narrower than standard trailers, so you won't need mirror extenders to tow it. This also means that beds are shorter than in some campers; I'm 6'1" and fit fine, but anyone taller might be cramped. Gross weight loaded is 3,500 pounds.
For longer rentals I have an optional Renogy 200 Watt Monocrystalline Foldable Solar Suitcase available (as you check out you'll see it as an option). This is easy to set up and will provide more than enough power for a full, long-term trip. I recommend it for any rental over four nights, although with careful battery conservation it's possible to go longer without needing it.
Thanks for your interest and happy camping!
What's included

Other things to note
RENTAL POLICIES: Four-night minimum rental. Experienced towers only. No pets.
Nonsmokers only. And no perfume wearers. I do not rent to people who will "only" smoke outside. If I smell smoke or perfume on you when you arrive to pick up the camper, I will cancel the rental. If I smell smoke in the camper when it’s returned, I will charge the $100 cleaning fee. Otherwise, if it's pretty much in the shape that it was when you got it, there's no cleaning fee. So far I've only had to charge one person that fee...I'd rather not have to with you.
WHEN SENDING A RENTAL REQUEST, PLEASE TELL ME:
1. Your plans for where you intend to tow the camper (especially if going to Glacier National Park please be specific about which campsite you plan to use. There are some limitations there that may not be evident from the park's website. Also - in case you missed it at the top of the listing - the camper may ONLY be towed on paved roads. The only exception is if your destination campground itself is unpaved. If I see that this policy is violated I will not return the $500 deposit!)
2. Make, model, year of your towing vehicle; which type of electrical connector you have installed; and how high your ball height is (ground to top of ball).
3. A description of your towing experience. I only rent to people who have camper or equivalent towing experience.

We had a great time in our Pod in Missoula and we really appreciated Joe's thoroughness in explaining the features of the Pod when he dropped it off. He was a really great host.

Rented the R-Pod for a father son hunting trip. Perfect size for the two of us, kept us warm and dry in single digit eastern MT winter weather! The owner was exceptionally easy to work with and easy to communicate questions to etc. I'd highly recommend him and would love to rent his trailer again sometime.
