City Sightseeing

Bonito Hollow RV Park & Campground is nestled in the wilderness, so heading to the nearest town is necessary for any dining, shopping, or sightseeing. Carrizozo is the seat of Lincoln County, and the closest city to the RV park, with lots of cafes, art galleries, and historical sites to visit. The Old Lincoln County Courthouse Museum is a gorgeous historic site and a wonderful place to learn about the Old West. You can see one of the most visited state monuments in all of New Mexico and learn about infamous outlaws like Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid while strolling through this amazing museum.The Carrizozo Heritage Museum continues the history lesson, with artifacts, outfits, weapons, and other objects representing both Lincoln County and Carrizozo's fascinating history. The lovely local museum has a fantastic book collection and volunteer docents who are happy to answer questions.If you happen to be in New Mexico during the winter months, Ski-Apache is an excellent ski and snowboard resort owned by the Mescalero Apache native people. Yes. Class A’s, Class B’s, and Class C’s and five-Wheels typically have bathrooms. How does check-in work?

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
