Come stay in the heart of the northern Adirondack Mountains when you camp at Shady Oaks RV Park. In Plattsburgh, the family-friendly campground sits on 44 acres of cedar and oak trees. The campground has a swimming pool, a playground, picnic pavilions, and horseshoe pits. If you visit during the summer, you can enjoy fun events and planned activities such as the Hawaiian Luau, corn roasts, barbecues, and potluck suppers. Pets are welcomed here; they just have to be on a leash at all times, and vaccination records should be presented at the time of check-in.
Visitors can choose from over 100 shaded or sunny sites. All RV sites have full hookups with 20/30/50 amp electrical service. Each site is outfitted with a picnic table and fire pit. If you need firewood, you can pick some up from the camp store. The campground also has clean restrooms with hot showers, a laundry room, and a banquet hall.
