The campground has been in the family since 1939, and the operations as well as the maintenance are in the hands of one of the members of the family. He continues the dedication of the family to a park that is safe, quiet, and hospitable for race fans and other visitors. The park is especially popular with fans attending events at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The park is open year round, and the weather is almost always excellent. Visitors will be happy to know that the park is close to most of the attractions in the area. There are great walking trails, picnic tables, and concrete pads. The grass, paved sites and paved roads make the park a pleasant place for families. The beautiful trees are a great backdrop at the sites. The sites have 30 or 50 amp electric service.
