LifeSavor is the ultimate 4 season adventure camper

New to the camper van experience, but we could not have asked for a better trip. The Lifesaver was easy drive and manage at the campgrounds. Once you get used to the mirrors it was very easy to navigate in all types of traffic and park. All cooking essentials were available. Plus the add ons were helpful since we were traveling from far away and didn’t have much else besides our luggage. Overall, we would definitely rent from Francois again and stay in the Lifesaver.

We had a really awesome time with this camper. It has all it needs and is practical to use.
Francois was an awesome lessor! He gave us an great instruction and was quick in response when we had a question during our trip.

We would choose it again at any time!

We experienced a mechanical issue on our trip which the owner is trying to blame on us and has lodged a claim against us. We deny any responsibility for the issue.

I refer to your interesting email and comment as follows:

1. We totally reject any implication that the suspension problem is in any way due to anything that we did or did not do. Any attempt to imply that we were somehow responsible for the problem will be strenuously contested.
2. We categorically state that the vehicle was not driven off road whilst in our possession.
3. We do not have any knowledge of a flat tyre, and you had ample opportunity to detect such an issue when we returned the vehicle.
4. We at all times acted in the interests of maintaining the vehicle and its contents in good condition.
5. We at all times kept you informed of what problems we were experiencing.
6. We at all times followed your instructions with regards the suspension issue.
7. We suggested that the vehicle should be examined by a mechanic and were prepared to interrupt our holiday for this to happen, however you not only rejected this advice but instructed that we ignore the alarm and finish the trip with a faulty suspension system knowing that we had at least a further 1000 km to drive, and therefore risking damage to the vehicle.
8. Given that we experienced problems within the first week of hire it is quite apparent that the vehicle was not fit for purpose when we took possession.
9. We had to endure very unpleasant driving conditions for the majority of our trip, which impacted our total experience (which was a considerable investment for us). We would have expected some financial compensation for this.
10. You did mention at the completion of the return inspection that the suspension issue was yours to deal with.
11. We require immediate refund of our deposit as agreed at the return inspection.

First things first, LifeSavor is an amazing camper van! Not too big, not too small, VERY easy and comfortable to drive, pretty economic (a quarter diesel tank to go all the way around Sunshine Coast and back)…and it’s a Mercedes Sprinter ambulance!! Very stylish, everyone on our way wanted to take a look inside.
Secondly: it’s not those ancient vans with old furniture and full of repairs. Everything inside looks rustic but very classy! Bed is easy to set, sink is powerful…and the toilet will make it worth in the middle of the night! There is a powerful propane cooktop (we cooked a lasagna in less than 10min), but you won’t need to bring your propane. Actually, you don’t need to bother with anything other than your route. Francois keeps everything fulfilled: propane, water tanks, diesel…even the bear spray!!! And he really answer your messages in less than 5min if you forget something from the initial “tour” on his van. We will definitely rent it again soon! Thanks for everything Francois!!!

We were very satisfied with his friendly and informative briefing by handover the RV.
The RV was in a good condition and easy to drive. All the given stuff and gadgets works well, so we could have a relaxed Trip. We could recommend the booking to everyone.

We had an absolutely wonderful trip in Francois's van! The van had
everything we needed to make our 11-day road trip across Canada easy, fun
and efficient. Francois has a lot of thoughtful touches within the van
that made it feel like a home away from home. This van truly surpassed our
comfort expectations and was also very easy to use and drive. Never having
driven a camper van or RV before, we found it very straightforward to drive
and felt very safe. Francois himself was a pleasure to work with - he was
always very timely in his responses, gave us a thorough walk through of the
van prior to use, and made sure to be available for any questions we had as
we were on the road. I would highly recommend Francois's van for your road
trip!
