NI follows in the footsteps of his older sister. Some have even said he is just as capable as ICHI but just makes everything look more rugged. With the black exterior and manual transmission, you’ll be connected to the road in style on the way to your next adventure. NI has all the same amenities, but prefers rock and roll over jazz. It really all comes down to preferences., So what’s it gonna be? The blonde or the brunette…

Choose wisely.

NI (Japanese for 2) is the second campervan of our fleet! He is a 1993 Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 4x4. This van is right hand drive, meaning the steering wheel is on the right side of the car as it originally spent its first 27 years in Hokkaido, Japan! Don't let this intimidate you though, as it is easy to adapt to within the orientation session for rental. The van is also a manual 5 speed transmission, so be sure you are comfortable driving stick! If you would rather drive an automatic van, look for our other listing for our van ICHI!

Featuring seating for 4, 2 up front and 2 rear facing seats in the back, you and 3 of your friends can hit the road with plenty of room and travel in comfort! The van is equipped with a rooftop tent (perfect for sleeping 2), a solar heated rooftop shower, 2 burner propane stove, portable electronic generator, camp dining table and a 12v cooler. Tons of storage space in the back for all backpacks, groceries, climbing/snow gear or any 4 legged friends that may be interested in coming along.

WOW! This Van is a DREAM!! As a big fan of early 90s JDM vans I have driven several HiAces/Delicas and this one is a real gem. It has very few miles on it, the body and interior are in great shape, the gearbox is smooth, it was 100% reliable, and was a BEAST when it came to 4WD off-roading. My interactions with Darin were also smooth as butter and he was super helpful in explaining all its feature…

The Delica that Darin is renting out is an awesome experience. Darrin was very informative and quick to respond when coordinating for the pickup and drop off. When I did pickup, he gave a very detailed walk around of the vehicle and explained everything I needed to know. When I had a question about the car, he was also very fast to reply. I would highly recommend this to anyone who asked
