Steamboat Bend is located in a 1,030 acre Woodland Mound on the east side of Cincinnati. Accessible from downtown Cincinnati you'll only be 20 minutes away. This campground is nestled on the shores of the Ohio River. There are 55 tree-lined campsites each equipped with water and 30 amp electric hookups, picnic table and fire ring. This location only takes payment for stays of 1 week or longer. The weekly fee is inexpensive and might be a good chance to test out the RV lifestyle in a RV rental.
Indian Springs Campground is located in North Bend, Ohio. They have 60 sites and many lakeside sites! The Campground can take care of everything from camping with a big rig to a pop-up. The location is convenient for people who want to enjoy southern Ohio. They are 20 minutes from Cincinnati 20 minutes from northern Kentucky.The facilities include 60 sites with electric, water, and sewer, 20/30/50 amp, 13 pull-thru sites, 47 lakeside sites, big rig sites, and bath house. The amenities include playground, walking trail, 16 acre lake, fishing, canoes, pedal boats, and barber shop. One of the downsides, for some people, is that the Campground is located close to the Interstate so you have to deal with highway noise. If you are looking for a place to call home for a day or two while enjoying the local attractions, Indian Springs will serve you well. The staff are friendly and welcoming and strive to make your stay enjoyable.

Just north of the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, in Hamilton County, is the beautiful Winton Lake, and located in the heart of the greenbelt surrounding the lake, is the Winton Woods Campground. Set in a pine grove on the shores of the lake, and within easy walking distance of Winton Woods Harbor, the campground is a well laid out park with paved roads, and creates a camping haven for visitors to Hamilton, Ohio. Since the campground also caters for tented camping, not all the sites are pull throughs, and not all are equipped with service hookups, but those that do also have a fire ring and picnic table, are paved, and are suited for big rig access. The campground also has free wifi, plumbed restrooms with hot showers, a playground area, as well as walking trails, and access to the lake via a boat ramp. Set as it is in a metropolitan area, the long, winding lake is really beautiful, and is fantastic for kayaking and fishing.

Inside you have a choice between Cincinnati History Museum, the Duke Energy Children's Museum, the Museum of Natural History and Science and an OMNIMAX Theater. There are 1.8 million artifacts, works of art to discover.
