Just north of the city of Cincinnati, Ohio, in Hamilton County, is the beautiful Winton Lake, and located in the heart of the greenbelt surrounding the lake, is the Winton Woods Campground. Set in a pine grove on the shores of the lake, and within easy walking distance of Winton Woods Harbor, the campground is a well laid out park with paved roads, and creates a camping haven for visitors to Hamilton, Ohio. Since the campground also caters for tented camping, not all the sites are pull throughs, and not all are equipped with service hookups, but those that do also have a fire ring and picnic table, are paved, and are suited for big rig access. The campground also has free wifi, plumbed restrooms with hot showers, a playground area, as well as walking trails, and access to the lake via a boat ramp. Set as it is in a metropolitan area, the long, winding lake is really beautiful, and is fantastic for kayaking and fishing.

Suitable for both RV access and tented camping, the campground at Buck Creek State Park offers plumbed restrooms with hot showers, a laundry, hookups with 30 amp electric, and a family friendly environment where pets are also allowed. A big rig will be able to get in here, but unfortunately there are no pull throughs, although the pads are blacktop and mostly level, and some of the sites are really close to the lake. Plenty of shade, beach access, a boat ramp and marina, plus walking and biking trails make for a pleasant outdoor stay, whether you're here for a night, or for a whole season. The sites are very secluded and quiet, and the park is well maintained.
