Tucked away about 40 miles to the south of Toledo lies the city of Findlay. Findlay is the county seat of Hancock County and the second largest city in Northwest Ohio. The medium-sized town sits directly north of Arlington and is around 82 miles away from the city of Columbus. Book an RV rental in Hancock County and explore Northwest Ohio with the pleasures of home away from home.

The long history and heritage of the city spans back to over two decades ago during the war of 1812. During the war, Colonel James Findlay built a road through the area for the purpose of transporting troops during the area when he built a fort, Fort Findlay. After the war, a community emerged and the first lots were laid in 1821 by Elnathan Corry and Joseph Vance.
