Washington County Fair Complex
campground
Hillsboro, OR
The campground at the Washington County Fair Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, may not be the most beautiful for scenery and the like, but given that it is practically the only RV park within 20 miles of Hillsboro, it is perhaps the best option for camping when visiting the area. As it is located at a county fairground, the RV sites are sometimes allocated to fairground activities, so it is always a good idea to call ahead and find out if there are sites available. For the rest of the year when there are no fairground activities on the go, the park does well for short stop overs, basically offering a flat spot at the fairgrounds on which to park your RV. Services are somewhat lacking, but you will still get electric and water at your site, and maybe even some shade if you grab one of the sites under the trees. The campground is very close to the airport, but the noise from there is generally not a problem.
