2020 Thor Freedom Elite
Ginger is brand new 2020- 24 ft motorhome with under 10,000 driven. Mercedes Diesel (V6) very powerful, with great fuel economy (Easy to drive). queen size bed in the back with T.V and VCR and an additional in the front. Temperature control with Air conditioning, Heat. Two more beds are very comfortable and sleep two each, exceptional for a family. outside shower helps keep the outdoors at bay (for pet showering or shoe cleaning). Ginger also features a propane generator, refrigerator, and (on demand Hot water heater). this is perfect for the off-grid experience. Ginger is comfortable at camp sites or off the beaten path. there is a large wardrobe and lots of storage inside for cloths, food, family games etc.
the driver's seat is loaded with state-of-the-art Mercedes bells and whistles. there is serious XM radio, Bluetooth, trip navigator, and an onboard computer that tells you your oil levels.
What's includedIncluded in the rental are linens for the queen size bed, dish towels, coffee pots, cups, dishes, silverware, kitchen gadgets, knives. 4 folding chairs. We had a great trip. The RV worked out great. It was the perfect way to tour Alaska. Fred and Catherine were so accommodating and easy to work with. They provided all the extras we needed and were flexible on drop off and pick up times/locations. Fred answered our texts during the trip when we had questions about the RV. We slept well on the queen bed. The upper bunk was a little much for two adults for 11 nights but the other couple traveling with us said it was comfortable for the most part. The only issue was the connection for the black/gray clean out hose. It leaked which wasn't fun but my husband is handy and made it work. Fred's getting it fixed so it won't be a problem. I would highly recommend this rental.

Just returned from a great time in Alaska with Fred and Catherine's "Ginger" RV. Wow! We can't imagine a better combination of a terrific RV and fantastic hosts. The RV was perfect for us and performed flawlessly in every respect. It was well-equipped, easy to drive and had plenty of power for passing slow moving vehicles.

Ginger was the perfect RV to rent for our epic Alaskan adventure, and Fred was super helpful, nice, and accommodating. This RV was a great size for my wife and me and our dog and it had all of the amenities we were looking for. It was super easy to drive and operate throughout our trip and we had an absolute blast. We will definitely be checking in with Fred to see if Ginger is available in the future for any more Alaskan trips.

First time renting and first time for Fred to rent. We were so grateful for Fred. He is thorough and patient. Could not ask for a better person to rent from. The vehicle was fantastic and when we had a question Fred was available and talked us through the issue. Being first time renters unfortunately we had more than a few questions after we left the Sayre's driveway. Highly recommend Fred!
