Overview

"We wouldn't hesitate to rent it again!!" -Sarah S., Ontario, Canada | March 2018 "Can't recommend the truck enough. Bed is excellent, and the rig is supplied with everything you could ever need." -Chris L, Boulder, Colorado | April 2018 "We really enjoyed the flexibility of just pulling over wherever we wanted and sleeping. The stove, the table, the chairs, everything worked great. Thanks!" -Brandon O, Honolulu, Hawaii | May 2018 We own the easiest RV you'll EVER drive...our modified Ford Expedition can slide into any parking spot, can be taken down any dirt road to find your own free campsite in the woods, can be easily taken to special events, and gets 17mpg on the highway...and DOESN'T take the expensive Diesel fuel that some RVs do. ****PICKUP INFORMATION and SPECIAL PROMOTION**** FREE transport from PHX Sky Harbor International Airport via Uber (you must have the Uber App...just “screenshot” the price you paid for the 15-20 minute trip to get to us, and we'll reimburse you for it!!) The Commuter Train (50-min) comes directly from the airport and stops only 2 blocks from the house. Other options are Taxi, Execucar, SuperShuttle, private helicopter, sherpa, bicycle, roller skates, etc. to our house, which are all non-reimbursable. :-) Our 5-minute walk-around video: https://youtu.be/EfJrec51tds Awesome Features: Large 53-quart 12v freezer / refrigerator, 2-burner stove, cookware and cooking utensil kit including French Press coffee maker, plates/cups/forks/napkins/etc, cruise control, leather seats, dual AC/Heat, memory-foam mattress and premium bedding, device-charging cords/outlets, 120v house-current inverter for charging laptops, and even a Double-DIN in-dash Navigation system which works with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Bluetooth, which allows you to play your own tunes and navigate your way to your next destination!! o Our onboard refrigerator will keep your food and drinks nice and cold. Stop by a roadside Farmer's Market for some fresh veggies and fruits, or drop into the local grocery store and score yourself some of your favorites...all simple to heat/cook/boil/saute on our included 2-burner propane stove and included cookware and utensils. o Our comfy memory-foam mattress, plush bedding, upgraded linens, and on-board catalytic propane heater will make your adventure more than comfortable when you bed down at night. The bed is 50" wide and 80" long...the length of a Queen, and the width of a full. Kevin is 6'4" tall, and can comfortably sleep in it. o And, once you find another great (free!) camping spot, relax in the evening with a bottle of wine or a cold beer, and relax in our included camp chairs. o Fixing meals is a snap too...on-board propane stove, folding table, ice chests, cookware, utensils, and a French Press coffee maker will leave you with TONS of options when you get hungry or thirsty. o Comes pre-stocked with four 1-gallons of drinking water, and four 1-pound Coleman propane containers, which are found at most any grocery store, camping store, or hardware store. (Just replace what you use so that it’s there for the next Adventurer!) o It's a VERY easy-to-drive vehicle, as we have eliminated the typical blind spots you get with a large RV. It has an excellent turning-radius, and it's ridiculously easy to pass slower drivers, and easy to park...which will SUBSTANTIALLY reduce your stress of driving during the day, and eliminates the delays and stress of driving a larger rig...down-shifting and barely creeping up hills...stopping for gas frequently...trying to pass on 2-lane roads...all that: GONE!! Also, there's no requirement to spend time planning out every single one of your accommodations and reservations in advance...because you can pull off and camp ANYWHERE and anytime you like...on Forest Service or BLM land...FOR FREE...or find a nice RV park (typically $30-ish/night) and shower-up wherever you like. This is our All-In-One Adventuring Vehicle, flexible enough for ANY trip you can throw at it. Easy to drive, easy to set up and tear down camp, and easy on the wallet. Our rig allows you to maximize the amount of time adventuring, sightseeing and exploring, and minimizes all the other hassles that typically come with camping. Bicycle rack, Kayaks, bikes, etc can all be added on, to customize your adventure to suit YOUR desires. We've spent more than two decades camping out, and we've brought everything we've learned about packing light and enjoying the flexibility of "meandering" and exploring, into this one amazing little rig that we've spent COUNTLESS hours and dollars designing and customizing...and we're looking forward to sharing it with you! You're going to love it! We include maps, suggestions for great camping sites that we've discovered, and offer a daily rental of a satellite communications device (Garmin inReach) in case you're in the boonies and in need of help...and can't get a cell phone signal...which is an AWESOME level of peace of mind! The Southwest is one of the most diverse and cool spots to check out. One flight into Phoenix, and within far LESS than a day's drive, you can be ANY of these awesome places: Heading South: Bisbee & Copper Queen Mine, Chiricahua Mountains (Hoodoos), Kartchner Caverns (bats, stalagmites, underground lake), Old Mexico, Old Tucson Heading North: Flagstaff, Grand Canyon NP South Rim (and the North Rim is even MORE awesome!), Moab (MTB, Jeep trails), Canyonlands NP, Goosenecks NP, Arches NP, Old Prescott (Whiskey Row), Old Jerome (haunted hotel), Old Clarkdale, Sedona (Jeep trails), Monument Valley (photography), Old Route 66, Stand on a corner in Winslow Arizona... Heading West: Death Valley NP, Joshua Tree NP, San Diego, Los Angeles, Lake Pleasant, Imperial Sand Dunes / Glamis, Old Route 66 Heading East: Roosevelt Lake and the Apache Trail, Globe, Apache-Sitgreaves NF, Mogollon Rim, White Mountains, Show Low, Pine, Strawberry, Payson (world's oldest rodeo) ...and the list goes on and on and on. :-)

We're pretty "Zen" about the whole thing. This is a vehicle built to enjoy...and in the process of enjoying, sometimes accidents happen. It's been well-loved, and there's already a few scratches and dings on it...so if something happens while you have it...no huge issue...just let us know and we'll work it out! We're pretty easy-going...just treat it as well, or better, as you would your own...

Had a great trip to the Grand Canyon in Kevin's converted expedition! Kevin was an incredible communicator. Always quick to respond, and always friendly. He helped us out when we came across a hiccup or two on our journey as well. The car does have a few quirks since it's not exactly brand new,...

Amazing experience! This vehicle handled everything we threw at it - long desert drives, rocky offroading to campsites, and it was great for sleeping a couple both inside and outside! Kevin's preparation and attention to detail made a big difference in our experience - he sent a thorough video of...

From the beginning, Kevin was an incredible communicator. All his messages were friendly, helpful, and positive. He recommended places to visit that I had never even heard of (my son and I had a blast at Tonto Natural Bridge), and responded immediately any time I had a question or comment. ...
