Wake up with the sunrise… the Sonoran Sunrise, that is!

Sonoran Sunrise is a desert dreamboat outfitted to transport up to four people in comfort and style while providing covetable camping luxuries like a kitchen sink with running hot/cold water and a filter, a two-burner gas stove, a refrigerator, and a bathroom complete with a dry flush toilet and an indoor shower (or you could opt to use the outdoor shower, of course)!

A built-in diesel heater will help you stay comfy and cozy even when the temperature dips or if the weather warms up, just open up one (or both!) of the ceiling vents to cool you off. When it comes to power you’ll be good to go between the batteries, solar, car to battery charger, and shore power options. Worries about running out of water won’t ruin your trip either with a thirty gallon white water tank at your disposal. Woohoo!

Dimmable ceiling lights let you set the ambiance and reading lights above the bed are perfect for snuggling up with a novel at night. Below the spacious platform bed is a gear garage ready and waiting to hold all the stuff you need for a top-notch trip. You can swivel both the driver’s seat and the front passenger seat to create a more open feel and when the party's over and everyone needs to get some shut-eye, the designated dining area quickly converts to a second bed that can sleep one adult or two small children.

If your next adventure is on the horizon, all signs point to this van. You won’t ever want the sun to set on a trip in Sonoran Sunrise!

GoCamp is a small, woman-led camper van rental company. We work with busy camper van owners who want to rent out their vehicles through a reputable business, but typically have a day job and not a lot of time to manage their listings. We are small by design; we curate the fleet, typically by invitation, and only include the very best vans and the nicest owners. You’ll work with GoCamp as you are deciding between various options and making plans, and once your trip is confirmed we’ll introduce you directly to the van’s owner. Everything you need is included in the base rental rate – bedding, kitchen and cookware, camp chairs, and more. Please don’t hesitate to message us with any questions - our team is always happy to help!

Perfect set up!

We rented Brian and Abby's Transit Camper because we've been wanting to build pretty much the exact van and floor plan layout and this was a chance to test out van life before making the financial and time commitment. We loved the van and the experience ! We're convinced we need this for our family. Brian and Abby were great to work with too! Brian was very responsive handling any small issues we had on the trip. We spent 10 days on the road visiting Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Sedona with our 6 month old daughter and made some great memories!

GoCamp’s answer

Thank you for your review on the camper van, Anthony! I posted it on our GoCamp site, so you should have received an email asking you to "verify" your review. Though it's not necessary, we would greatly appreciate a verified review. And if you don't want me to share your review, that's fine too!

Abbey & Brian were great. Communication about pickup and drop-off was very smooth. Van was super clean, handled extremely well on the freeway and on a remote road or two. Well equipped with plate, cups, utensils, bedding and camp chairs, etc.

Hi Bob,

We had the most amazing time renting Brian and Abbey's van. Super well equipped, every need is taken care of from outdoor blankets to reading lights to kitchen spices . Brand new and comfortable - we travelled with our 9 month old baby and didn't feel cramped despite the extra baggage that requires! The owners are friendly and helpful. We had no problems but they checked in mid trip to make sure we were ok. We will definitely be back for more adventures!

GoCamp’s answer

And we're excited to have you back on more amazing GoCamp camper van adventures!

Sonoran Sunrise is the perfect adventure van. It has all the fixings you could possibly need - kitchen with sink, stove and fridge, bathroom with shower and toilet, hot water, heating for chilly nights, window coverings for privacy, camping chairs, high clearance rugged terrain tires, sleeping space for 3-4 people, more than enough power with solar. Brian and Abbey also included all the little details that go above and beyond, and helped us out immensely since we were travelling by plane and are limited by what we could bring in our luggage versus our normal camping setup with all the bits and bobs. They provide things that make travel comfortable and easy like a portable speaker, headlamps, a candle, charging cables of every kind, extra blankets for chilly nights, games to play together, firewood, tea & coffee with travel thermoses, they even provided us with some snacks and drinks. It's a complete package for a great adventure, and Abbey & Brian are lovely people who made the whole experience really great. You will not regret renting this van!! One thing I do suggest is that you have a confident driver take the wheel, the height of this van makes it a bit of a sail, and when the wind hits you on those big open stretches of highway, it can feel a bit squirrely, so someone with experience driving bigger vehicles or someone who can really keep their cool and keep both hands on the wheel on the road is recommended. This is not a van you drive with food in one hand haha.
