Overview

Mr. Mike is named after Mike Sievers, the owner's beloved step dad. Mike was Oregon born and raised and spent his life in the forest as a logger. He was a rough and tumble guy who always had a great story to tell. This sweet Westy comes complete with a truck fridge and he's powered by a Subaru engine, so Mr. Mike has more power than your average Westy. Mr Mike also has a propex heater for those chilly fall and winter nights, making him a great option for cold weather camping. Reviews: "We loved our time with Mr. Mike! This van is outfitted with everything you need to have a great time exploring the Pacific Northwest. We flew in from out of state, so it was helpful to have all our camping needs combined in the Westy. The mobility really made our time in Oregon feel like an adventure more than trip." (To read more reviews see https://gocampcampervans.com/fanmail/.) This is the “Camper” version of the Vanagon; it has the kitchenette (sink, two burner stove, and small refrigerator) and sleeps four people in two full sized beds (two up in the pop top, two below). This is a classic, super cool Vanagon with a manual transmission, so drivers should be comfortable with a stick shift. What’s Included? I loved how the van let us get up close and personal with all the spots we chose to explore, really felt like part of the landscape. Also the van itself had so many fun bells and whistles; these vehicles have personality.

Mr. Mike is well-equipped and very comfortable. He had no trouble keeping up with the other cars on the road, even over mountain passes. Chris (the owner) was very friendly and gave us a thorough run-down on how things work and where everything is stored.
