Overview

Tumalo gets its name from a beautiful waterfall near Mt Bachelor in central Oregon. It's a place that holds many memories for the owners and Tumalo seems really happy when near its namesake. The van has recently had a few updates that make it a very comfy home on the road. Tumalo has a brand new battery that runs some key accessories, including the stereo, as well as a new propane furnace to keep the inside nice and comfortable when sleeping on cold nights. The furnace is also great as a way to quickly warm up after a snow shoe trip, skiing, playing in the surf at the coast or getting out on one of our many amazing fly fishing rivers after landing that big steelhead. Tumalo also boasts a new refrigerator to keep those beers cold after your mountain bike ride or rafting trip. Reviews: "It was spacious enough to stand and relax inside with plenty of room to cook and play games. Tumalo had everything you could possibly need from cooking utensils, to dominoes and even a hammock. The van drove like it was brand new. Tumalo was steady, reliable and went everywhere we needed it to go, with ease. We can hardly wait until our next GoCamp adventure! Easily a 5 star van." (To read more reviews see https://gocampcampervans.com/fanmail/.) This is the “Camper” version of the Vanagon; it has the kitchenette (sink, two burner stove, and small refrigerator) and sleeps four people in two full sized beds (two up in the pop top, two below). This is a classic, super cool Vanagon with a manual transmission, so drivers should be comfortable with a stick shift. Hop In and Go All GoCamp vans are considered “road trip ready.” Whether you are flying in from out of town or looking to explore your own backyard, all you really need to do is stop for groceries before hitting the road. All cookware and tableware is included, as is bedding and a wide array of camping gear. You’ll be sent a detailed list of all the items included in the van before your trip so you can plan accordingly. Seating and Sleeping This van seats and sleeps four. Bedding for four is included. Range This van is available for travel in the greater Cascadia Region (OR, WA, ID, MT, CA) and British Columbia. Pets YES, pets are allowed in Tumalo. 24-Hour Roadside Assistance Mandatory. The van owner, Aaron, was great to deal with, especially knowing that Tumalo was his prize possession and he was about to let it go to a complete stranger. The run through was great, and Tumalo was up to the challenge in every way: well equipped, clean, and ran like a champ. We had an ambitious...
