Overview

Maupin is a town in Eastern Oregon located on the beautiful Deschutes River. As a camper van, Maupin is a 1989 Vanagon Camper that features a clean comfortable interior with upgraded LED lighting throughout. Maupin boasts brand new speakers for great sound and a Bluetooth enabled digital media receiver lets you plug in your iPhone/Android device to play tunes. The receiver also allows for hands free calling through the stereo with a microphone placed near the rear view mirror. Additional upgrades include an auxiliary battery that powers the fridge and other electric devices so that you can go for days at a time without worry of draining the starting battery. New screens for the sliding windows have also recently been installed. Maupin is great for cruising around the Pacific Northwest and taking in all of the natural beauty that can only be accessed in a home on wheels with such a small footprint. Maupin would be perfect for your trip; he's a classic Westy and, with his beautiful color, sure to turn heads while you are on the road. Reviews: "It was an amazing experience! The Vanagon was equipped with many little extras that made our trip perfect. It ran well, was clean and comfortable! Would do it again any time!" (To read more reviews see https://gocampcampervans.com/fanmail/.) This is the “Camper” version of the Vanagon; it has the kitchenette (sink, two burner stove, and small refrigerator) and sleeps four people in two full sized beds (two up in the pop top, two below). This is a classic, super cool Vanagon with a manual transmission, so drivers should be comfortable with a stick shift. What’s Included? 5! Loved being able to camp outside in Oregon during November Rain. We were comfortable, warm and cozy. Awesome having great bedding and all of the amenities – our “host” (Duke) even left us a care basket with wine and s’more supplies – felt absolutely pampered. Also loved driving the van around...

What a great way to explore the NW! GoCamp made it easy to pickup/dropoff our van and our host left no stone unturned to make it easy. We ended up camping in one of the most torrential downpours on the Oregon coast, but we were snug, bundled up in our camper. Loved the little extras (such as...

We rented Maupin, the Vanagon Camper, for five days and had a great experience. The van is in amazing condition and the owner couldn't have been nicer and more helpful - not only in how he'd equipped the van for our comfort and convenience but also by offering a wealth of information on the van...
