Overview

Maupin is a town in Eastern Oregon located on the beautiful Deschutes River. As a camper van, Maupin is a 1989 Vanagon Camper that features a clean comfortable interior with upgraded LED lighting throughout. Maupin boasts brand new speakers for great sound and a Bluetooth enabled digital media receiver lets you plug in your iPhone/Android device to play tunes. The receiver also allows for hands free calling through the stereo with a microphone placed near the rear view mirror. Additional upgrades include an auxiliary battery that powers the fridge and other electric devices so that you can go for days at a time without worry of draining the starting battery. New screens for the sliding windows have also recently been installed. Maupin is great for cruising around the Pacific Northwest and taking in all of the natural beauty that can only be accessed in a home on wheels with such a small footprint. Maupin would be perfect for your trip; he's a classic Westy and, with his beautiful color, sure to turn heads while you are on the road. Reviews: "It was an amazing experience! The Vanagon was equipped with many little extras that made our trip perfect. It ran well, was clean and comfortable! Would do it again any time!" (To read more reviews see https://gocampcampervans.com/fanmail/.) This is the “Camper” version of the Vanagon; it has the kitchenette (sink, two burner stove, and small refrigerator) and sleeps four people in two full sized beds (two up in the pop top, two below). This is a classic, super cool Vanagon with a manual transmission, so drivers should be comfortable with a stick shift. Hop In and Go All GoCamp vans are considered “road trip ready.” Whether you are flying in from out of town or looking to explore your own backyard, all you really need to do is stop for groceries before hitting the road. All cookware and tableware is included, as is bedding and a wide array of camping gear. You’ll be sent a detailed list of all the items included in the van before your trip so you can plan accordingly. Seating and Sleeping This van seats and sleeps four. Bedding for four is included. Range This van is available for travel in the greater Cascadia Region (OR, WA, ID, MT, CA) and British Columbia. Pets YES, pets are allowed in Maupin. 24-Hour Roadside Assistance Mandatory. You must either purchase Coach-Net's 24-Hour Roadside Assistance package as part of your rental, or show proof of comparable 24-Hour Roadside Assistance (such as AAA PREMIUM). Seasonal Rates and Minimum Rentals May - Sept: $185/night w a 3 night minimum Oct - Apr: $160/night w a 2 night minimum Pick Up and Drop Off Vancouver, WA, just 10 minutes from the Portland airport (that's closer than most Portland locations). We had another AMAZING experience renting from GoCamp. Maupin was wonderful and we had a great time exploring Oregon! Duke was great, always getting right back to me if I had any questions. Thanks again for making our Oregon experience 5 star! GoCamp is such a great resource to have in the PNW and...

Go Camp was awesome -- the experience was personable and professional, from start to finish. Duke, the owner of the Maupin van (which we rented for the long weekend) is a great example of a caring, energetic, and knowledgable owner (one of many that rent vans through Go Camp I am sure) but he made...
