A recent article in van life brings it to life (van lifers dot com then search for gualala)
Gualala (pronounced WAH-la-la), a small Northern California town, was named by the Native American Pomo tribe meaning “where the water flows down.” Our van was named Gualala after we had driven the van through this beautiful coastal town. The town’s free spirit, beautiful coast, and natural landscape are the inspiration behind Gualala the EcoSprinter!Gualala the EcoSprinter has been lovingly built over two years. The owners made sure every little detail possible to ensure your comfort was included. And for those thinking about fuel efficiency on a long journey, the Mercedes-Benz Turbo diesel engine gets up to 22 miles per gallon! This is a high roof van so you can stand upright (up to 6’1”) to cook dinner on the double-burner gas stove with built-in propane tank. There’s a removable dinner table (walnut live-edge), a slide-out cooking platform for outdoors cooking, ample storage, lockable drawers, and even a bolted-down safe to store your valuables. You’ll be able to enjoy a good night’s rest on the full-size futon bed. When the futon isn’t being used as a bed, use it as a couch for reading or lounging about. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook up a feast. There is also a high-efficiency Dometic fridge so that your perishables stay nice and cold, and you can enjoy that lovely sunset with a drink! The EcoSprinter has a 20 gallon water tank with electric pump that feeds the faucet as well as an outdoor, heated shower. Yes, there is a heated shower; these are rare in most camper vans.To keep you warm at night, a high-efficiency heater provides heat. In the summer a fan and screened window keep you cool. This cozy van truly has it all; now it just needs you! What's includedIncluded in your rental are fresh linens, towels, 2 camping chairs, a camping table, outdoors string lighting, coffee, tea, spices, sugar, salt, oil and vinegar, and a fully stocked kitchen including knives, forks, spoons, mugs, wine glasses, utensils, large, medium and small pots, large and medium skillets, salad bowl, colander, cutting board etc...

We had an epic road trip through Oregon. Stephan was awesome he gave us some great tips on places to visit. He even sent us a route via google maps with all the best places to stop. Stephan was extremely helpful when we had a couple of questions along the way. The van was so amazing we absolutely loved it spending eight nights in the van was so perfect. The van has such a cool tiny home vibe. It literally has everything you need to live in the van off the grid. The solar panels and battery system were great! You can power all your devices and never have to worry about running low on battery.
The van literally has everything you need to cook a five-star meal! It got very cold on our trip in Bend and the diesel heater was amazing it warms up the van very quickly and keeps it very cozy. Also the hot shower was awesome. Spending time in the van Inspired us to one day buy own and do a custom build ourselves. Overall Stephen was so friendly and helpful and the van was absolutely amazing more than we could have asked for

We had a great few days in Stefan’s van. The van is very well done, easy to drive, and has everything you need for a short trip. We were very impressed by the beautiful design, and some great practical touches (good battery with solar recharge, a very easy to use heating system, outdoor shower, and dometic fridge that fit all our food for 4 days). Stefan was a pleasure to rent from, very friendly and helpful. He even let us park our vehicle near his place for safe keeping while we rented the van. I would absolutely recommend renting Stefan’s van.

My wife and I absolutely loved and would recommend renting this vehicle. It has everything you'd need for an off-grid adventure. The kitchen is large and very user friendly. The gas, water & power systems on board are simple to use and understand. My wife loved being able to have a hot shower and the hand crafted walnut counter top was the icing on the cake!

We have rented several sprinters and this is one of the finest conversions we have yet seen. Smart features and elegant touches throughout. Stefan is an excellent communicator. We would rent this sprinter again in a heartbeat.

I had a blast in Stefan's van. It is fully set up to be 100% off the grid for days on end. It was such a treat to pull up somewhere and not worry about a thing. The kitchen set-up is sweet. Lots of great lighting options at night, the pull-out bed is comfy and the hot shower is a nice treat. This is the ideal van to truly unplug. Pack it full of groceries and off you go . . .
