2015 Mercedes Sprinter
The Moose is a versatile sprinter van. She has lots of great features that make a comfortable road trip and is set up well to take her off the grid.
She is a breeze to drive as the 144” wheel base makes the moose easy to maneuver and park. Apple car play and a backup camera aid in the comfort and ease of use.
The Moose has two captains chairs that are removable so you can choose more seating or more space. The fold down couch seats three (lap belts only!) and is a comfortable sleep for one adult or two small children. The bed platform sleeps two adults. A foam mattress is available or you can use camping mattresses. There are also rings for you to sleep in a hammock in the van if you prefer (sans the platform bed).
The van’s luxuries include two refrigerators that live under the couch, a microwave, TV and XBox 360. The rear of the Moose has lots of storage for your gear. The moose has a hitch rack and a ball hitch or bike rack is available upon request. The very sturdy roof rack can hold kayaks, paddle boards or surf boards (straps available upon request). Portable solar panels can be used to charge the auxiliary batteries and a 2000w generator is available. Several outlets and USB ports are scattered throughout the moose as well as reading lights and two bright exterior lights. For colder weather, a space heater is located under the passenger seat and really warms the cabin (it draws fuel from the tank and is very efficient).
There is no formal kitchen but a propane stove and oven are included and a slide out cooking platform works well for preparing meals. She has a camp sink and 7 gallon water container available as needed. The front seats swivel to face the (removable) table and captains chairs for dining or card playing.
This van, honestly, is part of our family and we are excited to share it and allow other folks to have as fantastic of adventures as we have.
Winter update!! The moose handles well in the snow and has tire chains available. The space heater works great too!!

We have done epic road trips, mountain and coast and high desert camping, slept completely off grid and in high school parking lots. My kids love making microwave popcorn and watching Austin Powers as we cruise to faraway destinations.

Pets are welcome.
Lots of unmentioned gear available upon request.
No cooking in the van please.
Fuel tank will be full when picked up and should be full upon return.
No cleaning fee but please return Moose in same condition as you received her.

First of all..The host made this very simple...It was our first time with Outdoorsy and now a fan. Van was clean and he addressed all of our requests. The diesel made the trip affordable...that was a great surprise. 20 plus miles a gallon...Yay...Fits 3 to sleep. simple as it sounds. All utilities worked great. microwave, two fridges, lights & pure comfort. See you all again

Charles is easy to communicate with and is very helpful. Moose was just perfect for the two of us. The van was equipped with all described in the website , plus other things one may need on a camping trip like bug spray, condiments, breakfast bars , cleaning supplies etc.
