The van was fine. Dealing with Outdoorsy was terrible. Although we uploaded the documents several times and called them, they wouldn't verify our second driver. They were slow to respond and basically refused to verify him once the trip had started even though we had started the process beforehand and it was their problem that he wasn't verified. Their rules make no sense and their slow response was the reason we couldn't complete the verification. Interesting that they don't ask us to rate Outdoorsy. I would give them 0 stars.

We had a lovely trip to Lake George in Karen and Doug’s van. A positive first time RV trip all around. Renting was straightforward and the van was as advertised- clean, easy to drive, well designed and efficient space. Karen reviewed how everything works when we met and answered any questions we had. I felt very comfortable renting from them and confident about using their vehicle. We hope to be returning customers!

Our trip to Acadia with Moby was fantastic! We picked the van up in Somersworth at the Downeast workshop where Doug went over all of the features, how to use everything and he gave us some idea of what to expect. Don’t worry though – even if you forget something that Doug says, there is a very detailed user manual (with pictures!) that goes with you in the van to jog your memory. From the super comfortable bed, to the potent space heater under the passenger seat to the plentiful storage baskets – Moby was a great test of vanlife for us.

This was our first trip renting a Class B rv and it was a great experience for us.
My wife and I along with a 50 pound Lab did a two week trip into New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and had such a great time. We arrived to pick up the van and Doug and Karen were there to meet with us, they explained the layout of the van and answered any questions we had. During the trip we needed to reach out to Karen and she got right back to us with the answer. The layout of the van was comfortable and well thought out - it had pretty much everything we needed. The van was comfortable to drive throughout the trip.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Doug and Karen! Thanks for everything! We were so excited to have the van when a thunderstorm rolled through our campground. Absolutely nothing to worry about! Communication was spot on and I would highly recommend renting this van!

The van rental was awesome. It was clean, spacious, well-organized and planned out. We were able to go deep woods state campground with no power or water hookups for days at a time, confident we had the power to run lights, water, chargers, fridge and stove. Moby allowed us to live our best life.

Karen and Doug were the best hosts and great ambassadors for Outsdoorsy. They were everything you need in a host: welcoming, helpful, informative and supportive. I have some recommendations for Outsdoorsy the company which would aim to keep Karen and Doug in this business. Doug even returned me to my parents' home nearby.Total above and beyond! PS: Moby is a super stand alone vehicle with everything you need and more. Loved the whole experience!!

Our experience with Moby was the best! Karen and Doug were delightful to work with, and Karen gave a very thorough explanation of the van when we picked it up. The van was extremely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything you could need - made it very homey! We would highly recommend this rental!

Great way to see the state in peak foliage. Very comfortable and hippy chic. Great details like hit cocoa and spices for cooking.

Great van, created by golden hands- Doug clearly knows his craftsmanship and thought of every little detail- from Britta filter water holder cabinet to miniature perfectly functioning kitchen- just like home- feeling. We were welcomed by snacks and an impeccably clean everything- as we also left it upon return. Thanks Downeast Van LLC for this experience!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish! Booking through Outdoorsy was easy, Karen was incredibly helpful and communicative, and van was beautifully furnished. We absolutely loved our trip in Moby! We went for 10-days and visited Maine and New Hampshire. The van was wonderful - had a stocked kitchen, compost toilet, fridge, plenty of storage, comfortable (although small) bed, etc. Our dog absolutely loved the van. We would definitely do this again!

Karen and Doug were so easy to work with to get all our questions answered and our 2 week trip booked. When we picked up the van, Doug gave us a thorough walk-through of all the van features and answered all our questions so we felt confident taking over. The van is ASTOUNDING in its conversion approach; it has all the comforts of home and is well appointed (including a very comfortable bed and a stocked spice cabinet). They stocked the van with some snacks and a few waters to get us on our way. The van performed great for us and we soon became comfortable driving it up the coast of Maine and into New Hampshire. It was such a special trip and Doug and Karen made it all possible…thank you both!!!

Loved our first time traveling in Moby! We were new to the whole van travel scene and Karen walked us through everything to make us feel comfortable before we left. Plenty of airflow and head room in a small space, and the van was pretty easy to get used to driving (we found that changing lanes was a lot easier/calmer with the copilot helping to check blind spots!)

We were so very impressed by this sprinter van conversion. Moby, the van was perfect for our 4 day trip to Acadia for our 25th anniversary. The systems were as described; the interior is cozy and well appointed. Karen greeted us and explained everything very well. We highly recommend.

We LOVED our mini vacation in Moby! She is easy to operate, very comfortable, and very nicely appointed - like a fully equipped airbnb, way better than your typical hotel room. Everything worked perfectly and it was a joy to spend time with the fine craftsmanship in the build. The bed was comfortable and the places we stayed were quiet and safe (Nubble LH, and Freeport). We didn't use the garage but it will hold a couple of bikes... next time. Doug and Karen were great communicators throughout and made sure we knew how to operate everything before letting us loose! We wouldn't hesitate to rent Moby again... if we don't have one of our own first ;-)

Doug and Karen were excellent hosts. I’d asked about winter travel and they advised no problem. Nice and comfortable even at 21 degrees outside. It was a perfect 7 day trip.

We had a very positive experience. Doug has a business custom vans and his expertise shows. The countertops, tabletop, drawers and shiplap walls are as nice as any you would see in a home. Plenty of storage.
Doug and Karen really extended themselves to make sure we had the experience we were looking for. They are super accomodating and very customer oriented. We would definitely rent from them again.

The owners were SUPER freindly and responsive! The interior was beautiful and clean with a very comfy bed. As a "first-timer", we found the van easy to drive. It had all the essentials (including a detailed user's manual). The layout was well thought out and we had plenty of space for all of our gear. It was a wonderful experience!
