Meet your host, Kevin

Member since 2020

I've been camping in tents to Class C motor homes all of my life. My wife and I have been camping in various rigs for 30 years starting our just the two of us, then with our two children and now mostly just the two of us again. We prefer to go to State Parks in Minnesota but we've also spent a bit of time around Rapid City South Dakota. We typically camp with friends spending time in camp and on the water boating or fishing.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
The pick up day and drop off day are reserved for you. Let us know what you need and we'll work towards making that happen.

Q.Do I need a trailer brake on my tow vehicle?
A.
Yes. The trailer weight is above the legal limit of requiring brakes. Your tow vehicle must be equipped with a brake controller.

Q.Do I need a weight distribution hitch or sway control?
A.
Possibly. If you have a 1/2 ton or larger tow vehicle you should be fine without any special hitch. You'll need to ensure that your tow vehicle can handle the 380 pound hitch weight and the 4300 pounds in trailer weight. If you have a smaller SUV that is just at these limits than a weight distribution hitch and sway control may be needed. We currently don't provide that, but if you need it let us know and maybe we can make that work.
