Our experience renting Robin's vehicle on Kauai was brilliant. She gave us plenty of tips, picked us up from our accommodation in Kapa'a and provided us with lots of equipment necessary for a good camping trip. We stayed a few nights at Salt Pond, a few at Anini and one up in the Koke'e park. The car is in really good shape and has a roof tent attached if you chose to camp at one of the private campsites such as Kuma, or the YMCA on the North shore. All in all, a great trip. Thanks Robin

We really enjoyed our experience with this rental. Everything was as described so there were no surprises. Camping in Kauai is a little tricky, but no need to worry because Robin will help you through it all. She is an excellent tour guide. I loved that she included a list of all her recommendations of tours and places to eat. This came in really handy.
The car was clean, the bedding and towels were freshly washed and the equipment was in good repair. There was enough equipment to make camping comfortable but we did end up needing more tent pegs and found ourselves wanting a broom and dust pan and a clothesline, but managed without.

Ein Auto mit Rooftopzelt ist die perfekte Lösung um die Naturhighlights auf der Insel zu sehen. Du bist früher an den Startpunkten für Wanderungen und erlebst die Natur hautnah. Im Preis sind Unterkunft und Auto inkludiert. Die sanitären Anlagen auf den Campingplätzen sind oft nicht in gutem Zustand. Im Oktober 2022, hatten viele Restaurants und Geschäfte schon sehr früh geschlossen. Nutze das Tageslicht deshalb voll aus! Starte den Tag um 6 Uhr morgens, denn um 6 Uhr Abends ist es bereits dunkel und vieles geschlossen.

Probably the best renting experience I ever had. Her communication was very quick, easy and resourceful. She recommended us with Kumu Retreat campground in Anahola since we struggled with booking under C&C campgrounds. That helped a lot and made our trip more memorable.

I recommend renting this vehicle, I felt safe driving on the road and you will have everything that you need and more. Kauai is a wonderful island and getting around with a vehicle and camping is a must to explore it. It was an amazing trip, I recommend for sure!

What a great experience! Robin helped us plan our trip from top to bottom. She supplied us with absolutely everything we needed and gave us great recommendations. Camping at Kumu camp in the car top tent and waking up to watch the sunrise over the beach was the highlight. Renting with Robin is a must do for any outdoorsy traveler. Robin was a very helpful and knowledgeable host! She helped not only with the research of our trip but also answered any questions we had. We were provided with everything we needed from gear to sleeping equipment. We were comfortable in the magical rooftop tent and in the ground tent with the blow up air mattress. We were able to cook awesome meals wherever we were with an awesome camp stove and all the cooking equipment we needed provided. We would absolutely rent from her again. We had an amazing and memorable honeymoon!

Robin’s Tepui rooftop tent on the Rav 4 was the most perfect setup to comfortably explore Kauai. The tent was so easy to set up. We easily set up and broke down in the dark several times when we started our day before sunrise or returned after sunset. Robin provided clean linens and comfortable pillows, and the memory foam mattress was great at the end of long days of hiking and exploring. The camping bins had all the basics we needed from headlamps and lanterns to paper plates and basic spices. She even has a cooler, so we were able to buy fresh fruits and fresh fish while driving around. And we pan fried it on the propane Coleman stove.

We had the most amazing birthday adventure and experience in Robin's Rav4! She was so accommodating and had suggestions at every turn for our trip for places to eat, stay and hang. I couldn't have planned everything as well as I did without her help! It is so much better to camp and explore the island. She offered bedding, tent, cooler, snorkel gear, stove, literally everything you could imagine to make it turn key. It is the best and most wonderful way to enjoy everything Kauai has to offer. I wish we could have stayed for another week. Thank you again Robin!

Robin created such an amazing experience for me and my sister. She reached out to me immediately after I booked and said that she was available to help us guide our trip in the right direction. I had been to Kauai before so thought I knew where we wanted to camp, but thank God Robin helped direct us to an AMAZING location down to Kumu Camp.
For a small additional charge, she picked us up at the airport and brought us to her home so we could be outfitted with whatever—totally whatever—camping items we might need. I would totally recommend trying to spend a minimum of three nights with this rental since we were so well stocked with camping accessories. I’d totally recommend getting the additional blow up kayak as an option, too!
Camped close to the beach, the Tepui car topper tent withstood 20+mph winds and proved to be extremely waterproof.

The Toyota is in solid shape for Kauai roads, rains, and heat. My girlfriend and I were very impressed with Robin's commitment to us having the adventure of a lifetime. We used her boogie boards to catch some waves with turtles at Brennecke's beach and her snorkeling sets to swim with tropical fish at Tunnels and Poipu. Robin provided us with a choice of three tents to use at our campsites at Anini and Koke'e. We were happiest with the old fashioned four person tent with the rain fly (which was an absolute necessity). The inflatable air mattress fits just right along the width of the tent, and we managed to keep the sheets dry even in lashing rainstorms. My personal recommendation is to get to the campsites while it is still light out in case you need to figure anything out. It was sometimes the case that we were troubleshooting in the dark and had to take a pause to sit in the Toyota while a rain storm passed. Thank you Robin for the memorable experience!

You can rent a rad car but is the host as rad as Robin is?? Originally, I was looking for a westy or another pop-up camper van because needless to say those are awesome, but honestly I’m way more stoked I went with Robin and her Rav and Tepui setup instead!! I reached out to someone with a bunch of rental vans on Kauai and their lack of communication and responsiveness was the first red flag, and then a van that was shown as available turned out to already be booked. I had never used a Tepui tent before so I figured this would be the next best option. Not only is Robin’s setup more affordable than all the trendy Jeep and Tacoma setups you can find, she was immediately responsive and available for any questions/concerns. We talked on the phone about camping logistics on the island and about must-do’s/must-see’s. I appreciated talking in depth with a local about all that, very helpful! Robin was available over the phone, very communicative and helpful with this whole rental process. She picked us up at the airport and made the exchange very fluid. My partner and I had a blast boppin around the island in the Rav and camping with a beach-front view at Kumu Camp/Anahola Bay. The view from up in the Tepui was ideal, the tent setup process was a piece of cake, and was quite comfortable to sleep in. Robin also sets you up with all the gear you could want, camping beach and snorkel stuff. She can also hook you up with towels from a nearby resort so you can take advantage of the pool and ocean swim spot upon arrival on the island which was the perfect way for my partner and I to sink into the start of our time here. Robin also makes sure not to bombard you with info about the island until you’re actually there and ready to explore, but her wealth of knowledge is extensive and I highly recommend taking her suggestions for food and things to do, places to go. Long story short, my partner and I had an amazing experience, felt like we had everything we needed and more, and felt camping on the island was the way to go and have an intimate connection to the land here. Robin is an ideal host, the whole experience was super chill, and she’s super sweet. She really cares about her customers having the best camping experience with all of what this incredible island has to offer. Thanks for reading my novel but really I could say so much more… Rent Robin’s Rav!! You won’t regret it!

Our trip with Robin’s camper was fantastic. She is extremely responsive and was very helpful throughout our trip. We never used the roof tent due to covid restrictions, just the ground tent which was very easy to set up (although it could have been more waterproof). The camper is very well equipped, but ensure you request a thick blanket if you go to Waimea Canyon, and a water container as we didn’t have any. When we used it, the front seat was stuck and couldn’t go all the way to the front, so the driving experience was not as pleasant.

Wow wow wow!!! Robin is AMAZING! What a gem of a human being! From the beginning she was so communicative with us and so helpful in offering tips ahead of time (such as info about when to snag state park permit / hiking reservations, the Hanalei Bay hill schedule etc. We would’ve gotten stuck without her guidance!) She is incredibly friendly, warm, responsible, and professional. We were put at ease from the moment we started working with her. Her car is fantastic. We loved driving it and she thought of everything as far as camping gear goes! We camped at Anini and it was stunning. Our trip went so smoothly in big part thanks to Robin! We will be back and will definitely book this vehicle again.

Renting Robin’s RAV4 was a great experience for Kauai! Although we didn’t have access to the pop-up tent on our visit all of the gear included in the car made up for it. We had a comfy sleep every night and were always ready with towels and chairs for a beach day. The best part was all of her tips and info on where to go and what to see on the island!

DO NOT RENT WITH HER! She gave us so much trouble, complained about everything and sent several hostile messages about pick ups and drop offs, and even though we paid extra for airport pick up she dropped us off 3 hours early for an inter island flight. We told her 3 times that we were not going to be camping and just wanted to use the car because we were staying at an Airbnb and she is now trying to withhold our $500 deposit, claiming the tent zipper is broken. She pointed out how much people have paid in the past for scratches (up to $900) so if you go ahead and rent with her take lots of pictures. Save yourself the trouble and do not rent. Also the driver seat is broken, I’m 5’2 and it was really challenging to drive

Robin is a true gem! From the moment I booked this vehicle she was very responsive in helping us plan the perfect Kauai trip by sending over tips, things we need to know about camping permits, road closures (Hanalei), yummy recommendations for places eat (still dreaming about Trilogy in Kilauea- BEST coffee and vegan treats!). The vehicle was awesome - there is everything you need to car camp or camp anywhere with a Coleman tent. We found it spacious for two people, with the blow up Queen bed there’s still some room for your bags and personal items inside - We loved camping at Anini so definitely recommend that. The car tent was super easy to setup, there’s a video that Robin shared which was helpful in advance. Car was comfy , roomy enough for our luggage/bags. There is a TON of supplies for all your camping needs - Robin really has thought about every detail to make your experience enjoyable. We had our own snorkel gear but she provides a set for two in case you don’t have. The car seats couldn’t adjust at first but Robin was super responsive to get this sorted. Overall we just had a blast touring the island in this RAV4 - Would definitely book again! 🌺

Robin was very helpful and communicative prior to our trip. She's responsive, reliable and genuinely cares and wants you to have the best time on the island. She accommodated her schedule to our needs when we were on a time crunch. Her SUV was in good condition. We felt very comfortable sleeping in the roof tent and it was a cinch to set up! We were able to camp at YMCA Camp Naue and just about had the beachfront property to ourselves. The facilities are well tended here and I highly recommend this campsite - walking distance to Tunnels too! All in all, Robin is a complete sweetheart and we would recommend her services to anyone visiting the island and planning a lil camping action.

Robins rental was amazing. She is very accommodating and just a pleasure to speak to. We showed up and she had everything ready for us. She has everything a camper would need. The Tepui tent is the easiest tent I have ever put up. I have never seen or used one before and it only took us about 3 minutes to pop it up. The interior is very clean and comfortable for two people. Her car was very clean as well. 10/10 would recommend.
