Driving: I drive a manual 6 speed sports car, and SweetPea was a challenge. Transmission needs a bit of work. Most folks are in a hurry, and SweetPea is not, so tolerating some honking from behind is important. Turns like an ocean liner, no power steering, so don't even think about parallel parking.
She is a conversation piece. Everyone wanted to stop and take a peek. Many had driven one as a 20-something in the 70s. Served its purpose for a few nights with great weather.

But, when a last minute change in plans occurred due to Covid, he was completely understanding. (No the renters did NOT test positive)
Sweet Pea was fun to drive for the limited time we had her. We hope to reschedule our trip and bring Sweet Pea along.

It's amazing that a vehicle almost 50 years old could be in such great shape, inside and out.

There is no power anything, so don’t try and park in a tight spot. We always drove to the end of the parking lot, or found a quiet street and it was fine.
Sleeping in “Sweet Pea” was great and the upstairs bunk is probably better suited for kids or people who do yoga everyday, but I’m an out of shape 53 year old woman and I still managed to get good sleep.
Rent “Sweet Pea” and leave all your expectations at home. The adventure exceeded what we were hoping for and more, I would give Brian 6 stars for customer service and “Sweet Pea” a gold star ⭐️ for making us laugh and getting us to where we were going!
I hope to see her again someday!
