About the host, Senthil
Had a blast in Senthil’s van! It was spacious, clean, and the Queen bunk was so comfortable. Senthil was also very communicative and great to work with with.

Sleeps 8 is a joke. Homeowner's remodel of a well used cargo van is not well done. The only actual bed is unsleepable. Don't waste your time and money on this one. The true value to me would be less than $150/day.
Jeff had reserved another older/cheaper model on Outdoorsy that the owner cancelled due to repairs at the last moment and Jeff was left with no RV for his long weekend vacation. We got a call from Outdoorsy to accommodate him for a last minute reservation and we delayed our own vacation to get the RV cleaned and ready for Jeff since we fully understand how awful last minute cancellations are. That said, we have been renting this RV for last 3 years and received many positive comments especially about the comfort of the Cal King bed with 8" memory foam. I also have had 6-7 large guys sleep in the RV. Please see the pictures and decide for yourself. Our base rate is 199/day and we do not charge additional amount for supplies etc.
The reserved vehicle was in maintenance so we got another van from the same owner. The vehicle is not clean especially the driver seat. I do not trust putting my personal stuff in the organizers. Usually $100 cleaning fee is enough to hire someone to clean a 2000sqft property but I don't believe the vehicle is cleaned to the level that deserve $100.
The vehicle we drove has 150K miles on it and it works without trouble for most of the time. On our way back, the orange engine light was on and we thought maybe the engine was overheated so we turned off the AC.
The floor near the exit was not even and we tripped multiple times when getting off the vehicle.
The previous renter did not return the RV on time which caused delays in preventive maintenance we perform regularly. We understand how frustrating last minute cancellations are, so instead of cancelling his reservation, we upgraded Claude to a newer more expensive model even though we had plans to use it for the weekend. We had to forego our entire booking for a resort over the weekend with family that costed us more than what Claude paid for his rental. Diesels especially the Sprinters usually last a million miles so 150k miles is not the same as that on a regular personal car. Check Engine light can happen for many reasons on Mercedes Sprinter and Claude chose to respond to it by turning off AC for no logical reason. Upon diagnosis after the vehicle return, it was a 1000 mile warning to refill DEF fluid. The "floor near the exit" is not an exit and Claude chose to not use the steps provided. It is the area behind the seats and we are not sure why he used that area for exiting the van when the steps are right next to it. It caused some screws to come loose and he is blaming us for it. I got it fixed on my own expense for the next guest.
Perfect van if you need extra room on a road trip like us! We fit 6 large guys and 6 snowboards in the van with all our gear. Handles really well in the snow I was surprised. Thanks Senthill we will rent it again very soon!
Senthil was a great communicator and it was nice to know that he would be able to provide a prompt response to any questions. The option for an airport pick up/drop off was also a nice perk. The RV drove extremely well and was easy to handle. As long as you go in knowing that it is an older van with plenty of wear and tear, you won't be disappointed. Some interior items worked sporadically (radio, rear seatbelt, etc), but nothing that had an impact on the trip. It was plenty of room for a family of 4 and we had a great time.

The van drives very well. It has had its share of adventures and the interior is a bit aged. There are a few squeaky parts when the fan or AC is needed. The radio doesn’t work. It would be helpful to have a list of devices available to use. We would recommend this vehicle with caution.
