We took the teardrop to the Smokey Mountains for the weekend and had a great time! The camper was exactly as advertised and was easy to tow. 2 nights of use running the space heater, watching movies, and charging electronics made only a small dent in the battery life. The bed was comfy. The only amenities we utilized were the TV/DVD player, and the camp stove, both of which were sufficient. Pickup and drop off were a breeze. We appreciated the flexibility in pick up and drop off times.

Neil was responsive to our questions. The camper was clean and well equipped. The pickup felt a bit rushed as it started raining after we hitched up the camper. We were able to tow it to the GSMNP with a Crosstrek. We did not fully utilize the equipment provided e.g. outdoor shower, awning, generator etc but a/c and TV/DVD player worked fine for a couple hours we used in the last evening when it rained in Catawba. We got a couple people asking about renting it as the left side of the camper has info advertised (not in the photos). We would recommend updating cooler info as it was not Yeti. Overall, it served our purpose to try out teardrop camping as we're in the market to buy one. Thanks.

Neil was very easy to reach and answered all of our questions in advance of renting the teardrop trailer. He was very flexible on the pickup and drop off time. We are interested in purchasing a teardrop style trailer and this was a great way to check one out to help us narrow our search. We were able to put our bicycle rack and bikes on the back of the trailer! We loved being able to camp, but sleep in a real bed. It was perfect for two average sized adults. We did not need the AC or use the TV, but were glad they were there in case of a hot night or rainy day! We would definitely rent from Neil again; we highly recommend the teardrop trailer. We had a great rental experience!

We rented this for a Father's Day weekend at Philpott lake. This camper is so easy to set up and use, and it is small for an endeavor like this, so that when you pull up to a campsite( and we had two cars b/c my daughter was working part of this weekend) and then a boat to take out on the lake, plus a tent, you could fit it all. Also it was a nice feature that our dogs were allowed to go in there, had we needed that- they ended up sleeping in the back of our car, but they are house-trained dogs, and if my kids had gotten alarmed, it is nice that one of the dogs could sleep in the camper with them. The features of the solar lights that don't require an electric hook-up make it really nice if you aren't able to have a campsite with that. Neil was really nice to work with and we liked him. The t.v. connection didn't work out for us, which would have been nice for the kids, and it ended up being a password issue that we were unable to finalize with Neil far as what that was to gain access to watch the t.v. in there, but we still had a great time. Really nice camper.
