Adventures await! This is a 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 4x4 set up as an awesome, rugged adventure-camper. Great MPG from the 3.0L diesel, 4wd for piece of mind in any mountain adventures, and plenty of basic camper-comforts to keep you cozy once you arrive at your destination!
This Sprinter is also a great example to try out if you're thinking of getting/building one for yourself (I also have a Ford Transit adventure-van available on Outdoorsy - you could compare your best 2 van-options if you'd like).
Seating for 5 with a rear bench, along with swivel front seats.
You have a HUGE amount of storage in the 'trunk' under the bed, with some convenient racks for skis, snowboards, snowshoes, etc. Or plenty of space for kayaks or paddleboards along with all of your summer outdoor gear.
The bed is sized between a king / queen in dimensions, so you have lots of space for sleeping.
WHAT MAKES THIS UNIQUE (and what I do differently for you to ensure you’ll have the best experience possible…)
No extra fees for everything below - I include everything I can to help make your trip as excellent as possible, and to hopefully cover for whatever items you might have forgotten at home.
Packing for a camping adventure is *intense* - you're going to forget *something* (we all do!). I have done my absolute best to ensure that every crucial convenience, cooking, recreational, and safety item will be there, stored & ready if you need it - always. If you forgot it, you need it, or you just noticed something useful in the included gear - feel free to help yourself to the pre-packed & at-the-ready kits, stored and labeled for you.
Toiletries and Convenience: sunscreen, bug spray, charger cables, a full complement of all types of batteries, portable USB charger/battery for phones, extra Apple/Android charger cables, small torch/lighter, rechargeable headlamps, LED lanterns, 12V USB plug-in-charger, bluetooth speaker, plus travel-sized packs of commonly forgotten stuff: toothbrushes, deodorants, dry shampoo, ibuprofen, antacids, etc etc.
Bedding - I have various bedding options from warm-weather blankets/comforters, through 0-degree comfy-cozy sleeping bags.
Fun Items - ‘instant’ beach shelter, 2 camp chairs, 10”x12” ground mat/carpet, portable/instant propane fire pit, hammock & paracord, Mr Heater Buddy, multiple refills of green-bottle propane and butane, 10x10 pop-up shade/shelter.
Safety Item Kit - portable lithium jump starter, tire sealant, 12V tire inflator, fire extinguisher, tire pressure gauge (van has built in tire pressure monitors as well).
Athletic Stuff: 2 pairs of snowshoes, 12V air pump for air mattresses or inflatables, yoga mats, hiking poles, extra backpacks, extra coats, paracords, squeezable water bottles,
Last - please note: this is not a traditional full-RV, so you won't have a shower/bathroom or a built-in kitchen. This van is set up for those who are wanting a great 'basecamp' to have your adventures from, but not so much for those who want to hang out in an RV all the time. Final note - the bed platform is pretty high up (as is the van itself for ingress/egress), so you'll need to be in OK shape moving-around to comfortably use it.
