One of the best Coleman trailers to hit the road. The evolution series comes equipped with a solid frame, easy crank roof lift, rugged tires with a lift, and comfortable layout. The E1 provides a queen size bed, double size bed, and dinette table that converts into a twin size bed allowing 3 adults and 2 children to all sleep comfortably. A galley kitchen with two burners and large basin sink for inside preparation and a portable 2 burner stove for those who prefer cooking outside. 3 optional way Dometic fridge. Powerful heater for the cold nights. AC for the hot nights when hooked up to power. 12V deep cycle battery, convenient outlets inside and out, and a spray away utility hose on the outside. Storage options inside and out with outside shelf compartment when packed for easy storage of coolers and extra gear. Required for this trailer is a brake controller, vehicle rated to pull over 2500lbs, 2” ball for hitch, and a 7 way round tail light receiver. Cleaning is easy to do in this RV option. We ask that it be returned in the condition in which it was rented. All counter top space wiped, floors swept, toilet emptied/cleaned. Thanks for considering and please ask any other questions in message. We look forward to helping you create your next adventure either on the road or in the backcountry.

What's included

The trailer includes fresh sheets on both beds, kitchen kit (upon request), Westinghouse 2200iXLT generator, rapid battery charger, digital brake controller Tekonsha 90195, full water tank (if desired).

Recommendations

We are conveniently located 2 min off the 2-I15 freeway making it easy to get to camping up both big and little Cottonwood Canyons 30 min away, the Uintah National forest is an hour north, or all the spectacular parks including Zions, Goblin Valley, and Canyonlands 3-4hrs in southern Utah. We are always happy to share more specific details and ideas of camping locations, if needed.

Other things to note

This trailer requires a brake controller which we can include with minimal installation. Renter will need to source the adapter specific to their tow vehicle (Tekonsha 90195 digital brake controller on Amazon $12-15). Two 20 lb. propane tanks will need to be refilled upon return based off of use. Generator gas will also need to be refilled based off of use.

Meet your host, Tyler and Season

Member since 2017

Hello, from Tyler, Season, Sei, Sen, and our dog Hong. We are a native Utah family in the Cottonwood Heights area who recently fell in love with the pop-up trailer. Before having both boys we were mostly tent camping or backpacking in surrounding lakes and campsites in the Wasatch and Uinta National Forest. Occasionally 4X4ing in the Canyonlands and Moab areas. Looking for more conveniency and an easy-hauling option, and something that would accommodate our growing family, we turned to the pop-up trailer. We had such a great experience renting here on Outdoorsy that we decided to become owners and share our love for the outdoors along with the Outdoorsy community.

This was our first RV experience and Tyler was super helpful in showing us the ropes. It’s a great pop up trailer and made for an fun trip for the fam—felt so luxurious to camp with a heater and full bed! ;)

Tyler and Season’s answer

We’re pleased to hear, Pete. :) Thanks again for choosing our trailer. We hope to see you all again!

Would 100% recommend this pop-up! Tyler was an absolute pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond in helping us trouble shoot some unexpected problems (e.g. we had a challenging finding the brake control adapter). If you are new to renting pop-ups/trailers, do yourself a favor and rent from Tyler. He made this a really enjoyable experience. The trailer includes everything you need (bedding, kitchen set) and he saw to the little extras like providing extra coolers and filling the water tank. It was immaculately clean and easy to tow.

Tyler and Season’s answer

Even prior to renting the camper, Tyler answered all our questions. Tyler made it very easy and smooth to pick up and taught us how to use it. It was a great experience!

Tyler and Season’s answer

Had a great time with this pop-up trailer. It was super easy to pull behind my Tacoma, no issues at all. Tyler was super helpful with any of the questions that I had and I would certainly rent from him and Season again. He walked through setup when I picked up the trailer for the trip and was available for questions as they/if they came up. Tyler was great to work with and I can’t eat enough good about the trailer and renting from them!

Tyler and Season’s answer

We’re so glad you enjoyed your trip! It was a pleasure hosting you and your family. Keep us in mind for future adventures. Have a great rest of your summer!
