Our road trip in Blanca couldn’t have been any better. The pickup with Ben went smoothly, he was super flexible, and we didn’t need to connect with him again until on the return trip back. The van had everything we needed and more!

We had an amazing trip in Blanca traveling to Idyllwild and San Elijo beach. The van came with everything you would need for a camping trip (fully stocked cookware, camp chairs, fridge, linens), making the trip preparation a breeze. Ben was a fantastic host and we will definitely be renting from Vamonos Vans again!

Ben & Emily are great hosts! I had so many questions prior to our trip and they happily answered all of them. They keep an open communication from even prior to booking all the way through.

Q.How Many People Can Travel?
A.
There are 2 seat belts, so only two travelers per trip.

Q.Are the vans insulated?
A.
Yes, kind of. Southern California is Sunny and Hot, so we opted for a radiant heat barrier instead of traditional insulation. What that means is, our insulation works to keep the heat out, instead of keep it in. The heat barrier, thermostat controlled ceiling fan, light colors, and blackout curtains help to keep the camper cool during hotter days with no shade.

Q.What if I'm going somewhere cold?
A.
Don't worry, there’s still has plenty of heat retention! The cushions, blankets, and curtains in the small space all act as great insulators to keep warm on colder trips. While we wouldn't suggest living in Alaska during the Winter, we have camped in the low 30's very comfortably with nothing more than an extra sweater, especially if there's two traveling together!

Q.Does Blanca come with chains for driving in the snow?
A.
No, and you shouldn't drive in inclement weather. Blanca is a rear-wheel drive vehicle, and heavy, with out any upfitting for off-roading. That means that she needs to be kept to dry and safe, maintained roads.
