In the process of getting this rig all fixed up and kitted out.
It’s listed at a reduced rate to reflect the fact that I haven’t finished going through and fixing all the odds and ends.
It will still be perfect for 2-4 people on a tour of California and beyond. If this looks interesting to you, just shoot me a note. I’d love to hear what would be a good trip for you and what activities you are most interested in.
Pick up: Use “Alta Plaza Park” when doing general trip planning for the pick up/drop-of location.
Precise location provided upon booking. Recommend taking a LIFT or UBER from SFO or OAK.
SFO - SF Uber = $35-$45
OAK - SF Uber = $45-$70
For local folks leaving your personal vehicle, I would check out the Japan Center and Japan Town garages near Fillmore and Post St.

Take it on a surfing trip, explore hot springs, stop in Napa, or simply grab take out and eat at the side of a quiet mountain road and enjoy the view and tranquility.
Some examples (reasons why we bought it) below:
Romantic trip to visit infamous or hidden wineries
Mountain biking expedition; have you checked out Downieville?
Tour of California’s hot springs.
And of course Redwoods and Yosemite.
Other things to note
It’s not new, it’s had a few owners and a few tasteful and suspect mods along the way.
It's regularly serviced and maintained. I've chosen the best mechanic in San Francisco to do repairs and my philosophy is I'd rather pay the premium now than be stranded later. BUT It's 27 years old so please understand that hiccups may and do happen.
It's good if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and being willing to figure out problems if and when they arise.
Cruise control currently doesn’t work - I personally have found it ok without cruise control and would stress that the pedal is well weighted and doesn’t get tiring.
Cabin heat doesn’t work - heat from the engine/dash has been removed and is rarely needed.
