Looking for a highly capable, easy to tow and uncomplicated toy hauler to bring your gear, bikes or atv with you on your adventure? This rig will get the job done. What you get is a new 2021 Intech Explorer with all the upgrades including the off-road package, climate control, outdoor kitchen, batwing awning and LED lighting. New to trailering? This is as easy and carefree as it gets. On the inside you have one full size tip out queen bed, and a 5x8 wide open floor space that can fit another queen sized air mattress or multiple camp pads. The outdoor camp kitchen contains a NorCold AC/DC fridge and cooler, and a two burner range that runs off propane. The temperature control is run entirely off electric, no propane required and both heats and cools. There isn’t much you can mess up and don’t need to worry about some of the complicated or quirky things you find in most trailers. We purchased this brand-new unit exclusively to rent it out. No need to feel weird that you are sleeping in our personal camper. This is a rolling base camp that lets you get off the grid with ease and into any campground with style. Looking for adventure guides, trip ideas, gear recommendations or other off road capable camping trailers? Check out our website pupterra (dot) com for more info. We also run two guest properties in the SoCal Mountains that are available for guests to come camp and visit. You can find those details through the website as well. Thanks for checking out the Explorer and don’t hesitate to reach out with questions! What's includedFresh Linens, Pillows and Comforter
GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Cook Set, Plates, Cups, Bowls and Cutlery for four
Two small portable camp chairs
Shore power 30amp cable + 120v Standard Outlet Adapter
Wheel Chocks to prevent rolling and lock the unit in place
Stabilizer pads to level and stabilize the unit
Adjustable with 2 Inch ball to fit the trailer to your vehicle
MaxxAir Vent fan for air circulation
(6) 500lb capacity load tiedowns on the inside of the trailer
Batwing Awning that provides a huge shaded area when deployed
RecommendationsThis unit is a favorite for guests looking to bring their dual sport motorcycles, dirt bikes, mountain bikes or ATVs to one of our private nature Preserves just outside of Temecula, CA. Others have used this to take their toys out to the desert, or to serve as an extra camping unit to supplement a larger rig.Other things to noteThis trailer is simple, very well put together and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. There is no water, shower or toilet. The battery charges from your vehicle while idle or being towed, and the battery only powers the lights, stereo and Maxxair fan. To use the climate control for heating and cooling you will need to be connected to shore power or a generator. It is capable enough to handle light to moderate off pavement roads but is not meant for aggressive off road driving.

Meet your host, Bob

Hi I'm Bob! My family and I have a love for travel and adventure. We have lived in Chicago, Omaha and Tampa, and now we call San Diego, California home. We started a small outdoor adventure business (www.pupterra.com) to help people find fun adventures, camp at one of our two recreational properties in the SoCal mountains, and get some tips and suggestions to have a fun and safe trip. If you are looking for a SoCal spot to camp or take the trailer, check out HipCamp "The Preserve at Temecula Creek" or "The Preserve at Aguanga Ranchos" and use the referral code "Pupterra" for a first time discount. Our inspiration for Pupterra is our two amazing dogs, Erma and Chloe. Erma is a rescue from a puppy mill in Ohio and she is a Coonhound-Terrier mix. Chloe is a rescue from Tijuana and she is a Chihuahua-Schnauzer mix. They come with us on all of our adventures and make each one all-the-more memorable. Thanks for checking out the Explorer. Don't hesitate to reach out if we can answer any questions for you about the camper, our properties or just want some tips on where to go camping.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
My wife and I work from home and during weekdays one of us will be available for a proper pick up or drop off routine any time between 5:30 to 7:30 AM or between 3:30 and 9:30 PM. We have quite a bit of flexibility during the day as well, but would need to take those requests one-off and verify our availability the night before the pick up or drop off.

Q.Would you consider less than a 3 night minimum?
A.
Most of our rentals are 3-5 nights and won't consider booking request for less than 3 nights. You are welcome to pick up and drop off within a shorter window than 3 nights if it fits your plans better, but will only take bookings of 3 nights or more. It is cost prohibitive at anything less due to an increased frequency of cleaning, laundry and inspections. The toys people bring and the places people go with this camper tend to attract a lot of dirt...

Q.Why isn't the fridge cold?
A.
The AC/DC refrigerators in RVs take a really long time to get cool. The manual suggest to cool the fridge at the max for 8-12 hours before loading food. This is fine for longer trips, but for short ones you might as well add some ice and consider the fridge to be a fancy cooler with supplemental cooling capabilities.

Q.How does the awning work?
A.
If you have never used a Batwing Awning by RhinoRack you will want to look up a video to see the process. It is super easy once you see the steps but is best explained by seeing a tutorial.
