Was not clean. Missing the bathroom cover due to dry rot. Dust storm came in the night before we picked it up (at least that was her story of why it was dirty) and we spent 3 hours cleaning before we could load. There were dead roaches in various locations. Upon getting to our destination with running no power, we found the following morning, the batteries were dead and not charging. Could never start the generator unless we borrowed another campers generator to jump start the RV generator. If there was no other generator there we would have no power to operate the lifting jacks to load trailer onto my truck. The shower door as soon as my 12 year old son sled it came apart. This was something the owners did a poor job on fixing and knew of the potential hazard. There was no propane on board.

Since there are always two sides to every story..... The renter and I walked around the whole unit(inside and out) before he left with it. He was very happy and very impressed. I personally made sure the rig was cleaned and sanitized before it left. The vent was not broken nor was it ever pointed out during the walk through(he never even got charged for the vent when it came back broken). The shower doors were just fine, pre-rental. There was never any fixing needing to be done because there was nothing wrong with them. Again, the renter and I inspected everything. Before he left with the trailer, the generator/battery was working just fine. There was no reason to believe there was ever anything wrong with either of them. I told the renter, as I do with all my renters, if there is ever an issue day or night please call or text me. I didn't hear a single word from this renter till he brought it back. I didn't charge him for anything other than what was necessary. Its all in the contract he signed. 4 hours a day for the generator, anything above and beyond that will be charged accordingly. It's also states in the ad what the generator fees are. He ripped the linoleum in the living room so he got charged for the repair. He broke the light under the vent for the stove, so he got charged for that repair. He got charged for the 2 rollers for the bathroom door. It also states in my ad there is a cleaning fee which is paid up front. He did get a credit for the gas he put in the trailer due to him using more than what was in there and when he brought it back there was fuel left in there. There are no hidden fees or unexpected fees. This is why there is a security deposit in place.
