2010 Freightliner Sprinter
Welcome to my home on wheels in which I traveled over 8000 miles through the US/CAN! Sally is a Sprinter 3500 (dually) with a wheelbase of 170" providing tons of space for camping equipment, bikes, fishing/diving gear, surfboards, dogs, etc. Please feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions!What's includedFeatures a queen size bed (18" tempurpedic mattress), 12v freezer/fridge combo, tons of storage for clothing and gear, propane & butane stoves, two fans/vents, 300ah of solar power, 3000w power inverter, dining table for two, cell phone booster, passenger swivel seat, privacy curtain, and all the cooking utensils you will need.
The toilet is 5 gallon self contained unit when other options aren't available. Sally has a 12v sink that contains 6 gallons of clean water and has a 6 gallon grey water container (with additional 12 gallons located in the 'garage.') The shower is an outdoor camp shower that we hang on the back door so we can shower with an amazing view. The kitchen is a portable two-burner propane stove (as well as butane) so you can take it out to your picnic table if you like and there are fun games stored under one of the kitchen seats.RecommendationsTake her to SLO, Big Sur, Mammoth, Fig Mountain, or a day at the beach! Sally is a cozy, secure, and mobile option that is appropriate for a variety of trips/excursions and we hope you enjoy her as much as we do!Other things to notePlease follow these guidelines to make things easy for both of us:
- send me a message after making a booking request sharing your trip plans
- refill with Diesel #2 before returning (no Biodiesel). $6.99/gallon will be taken out of security deposit if not refilled
-be mindful with the toilet use. 5 gallons fills up faster than you may thinkThere is a tracker in the van. I dont intend on checking location unless there is some sort of issue. I had an awesome time with Sally. I will be taking her out again and if I lived closer Morgan and I would definitely be hanging out! What an absolute blast I had :)

Van was great! Drives like a brand new van. It was home built and it's not a $175K pro-build, but the rental price is 1/3 to 1/2 of those types of vans. It absolutely has what you need. I loved the comfy, permanent bed (I don't enjoy making up a bed every evening when the space is convertible). The electric system is up for *anything* - I was never short of power. And plenty of counter space is a big plus! It has a couple of ideosyncrasies, but that's part of van-life! This is the real deal, not the sterilized IG version (and it is plenty photogenic for you IG-types)! Morgan was nothing short of great in his communication, accommodation and flexibility. I will absolutely rent this van again next time I'm in SB!
