We had an amazing time, the van fully capable to go to all the camping spots we wanted to go to; the van drover very well and the camping layout is fantastic. We had a minor mechanical problem on the road but were able to work through it on the phone with the owner and were on our way again to fun places. Great experience

My husband, daughter, and I just got back from a two week vacation to the Olympic Peninsula and Vancouver Island. We rented Goldie for the first week and Gretel for the second. Both vans ran well and were comfortable and clean. The Westys are beloved in the area and it felt good to get peace signs and affectionate "W" hand signals from other drivers we passed on the roads. Gretel and Goldie made it possible to camp in a variety of sites. Since there was a campfire band on Vancouver Island, being able to cook on the stove with propane was conveniently useful. Mike was incredibly kind and helpful to us throughout our trip and played a part in helping us plan a successful vacation given some of the logistical challenges and enormous variety of options to chose from regarding camping destinations. He was flexible when we needed to make adjustments with drop off times and understanding and generous regarding minor damage, (Thankfully, the damage could be repaired easily!). I highly recommend Black Forest Westfalias.
