I originally reserved and fully paid for the RV rental back in October of 2022 for our vacation starting June 17, 2023 and returning on June 27, 2023. I received an email from the host upon reservation and then again a few days before pickup. During that communication a pick up time and location was agreed on. The day of pickup we were contacted by the host when we were on our way to pick up the RV that the RV would not be ready at the agreed upon time due to some tire issues. Needless to say we were somewhat disappointed that we were being contacted while on our way to pickup the RV. After a brief time the host informed us that the RV was now ready.We drove the RV to our destination and stayed at three different parks along the way. During the time we had the RV reserved we only used it for driving and sleeping. We never used the kitchen or bathroom. I can say that the beds are not very comfortable. We did use the generator some off and on and it seemed to operate ok. The AC was very cold, in fact many nights we slept without AC because it was too cold in the cabin with it on. Overall, the RV ran well and we had no mechanical issues.When the host showed for the return they eagerly started taking pictures of the RV. After the host came down from the roof of the RV they tell us that there is damage on the roof that was not there when we took possession and the ladder had a bend in it. We explained there was no way we damaged the roof because we didn’t drive under anything at all and we only backed up two times and both times someone got out and guided the driver with the back up. Discussions back and forth between the host and ourselves continued. The host told us about how they already had to have the roof replaced by another renter. I told the owner if that’s the case you should be talking to whoever you purchased the vehicle from. The host knows the roof is already faulty and now trying to accuse us of damaging their roof. At this point we felt attacked by the owners and the whole time we took care of their RV like it was our own.After leaving we received a call from the host. They were calling to let us know that after comparing before and after pictures that the roof damage must have been from the previous renter. While I was happy to hear this I was not happy with the fact that the host really upset our family. The host took the before and after pictures so they knew when they took the before pictures if there was damage or not. Very suspect behavior by the host.

Carolyn's account of what happened has some gaps, which we fully detailed in our review of her, and we will refrain from repeating here. Our interactions with her before departure and at return were incredibly unpleasant. We handled the damage we found as professionally and politely as possible. We explained that she was protected by the before and after photos, which would be reviewed carefully. This did not appease her. She continued to get angry with us and threatened us with a bad review. Her adult daughter quietly asked me to please ignore her mother, but I explained this was not fair to us. Carolyn yelled at me "I KNEW y'all would be scammers." When I asked why she would say something so offensive, she got in her car and drove off.Although Carolyn states that she treated our RV like her own and the bathroom was never used, there was something that appeared to be bread crust in the toilet, the complimentary Swiffer supplies we provide were not utilized as the floor was not swept or mopped at all, and she failed to mention in her account above that in our last phone call, she remembered when the bent ladder most likely happened, and she took responsibility for it. (Interesting that they only backed up twice with guidance yet still managed to damage our ladder.)Bottom line, we've had approximately 45 renters, and Carolyn was, by far, the worst renter we've worked with. We only look to work with renters that are willing to be understanding, patient, and are, in general, kind people. If this does not describe you, please rent elsewhere. We are very regretful that Carolyn G. selected to rent our RV, and unfortunately, our experience with her is not over because we now have an open insurance claim to fix the damage she caused.

The RV is nice and the owners were very responsive to our questions. However, once we got to our destination the leveling/stabilizing system would not work which prevented us from being able to put the slide out so it made for a little tougher trip. I think if the leveling system and slide had been functioning properly, and the tanks had been pumped prior to us picking the RV up for our trip, everything would have been fine.

We rented Tibby to take my mother on her Bucket List trip to Big Bend National Park. She's a great RV to drive. We took her up into the Hill Country first. Smooth as could be. Setup became so easy and routine I almost felt like I was forgetting something. We opted to use the cab for storage and my mother slept in the converted dining table to bed, while I used the murphy bed. We were both quite comfortable. It felt like we each had our own space at night. We experienced both hot and very cool weather. Tibby kept us at just the right temp. After Hill Country we traveled down to Big Bend NP by way of Big Bend State Park. The drive was gorgeous! Bathrooms were few and far between - one of the many plusses with Tibby. We stayed in the Rio Grande RV Village in BBNP. It's an absolute must! Only negative was that Tibby was a hair shy of too long to go up into Chiso's Basin. Honestly, everyone was so friendly in the park, we could have (and should have) hitched a ride on up. Tibby has so many built-in safety features that you honestly can't get it wrong which made for worry-free driving and camping. Key and Judi were super helpful as I reached out to them several times on the trip for usual RV info. Always received a quick response. Thank You!

Beautiful RV. From the start to finish everything was excellent. Key was great host. He communicated with us throughout our trip. He delivered the rig and set it up for us then picked up at the end of our tree. The RV has everything one needs from space and storage to appliances. Thank you so much for making our experience easy and seamless.

"Tibby" drives like a dream and is easy to manage for it's size. Took a short trip from Texas to Louisiana and "Tibby" was cozy and comfortable. Key was super helpful and always available to answer questions. I would definitely rent "Tibby" again from Key in the future!

Key was amazing to deal with. He went out of his way to help my Father get into this RV during power outages abs checked on him often. Went the extra mile to make sure everything was operating and that my father had a clear understanding of functionality. They dropped it off and picked it up. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend!
