"Charli Jade" is our newly renovated boho-styled pop-up camper (1996 Coleman Grand Sun Valley). Since this is our personal camper she is also stocked with things we love for camping, we just request that you please respect our things as if they were your own. If you use something up also please let us know so we can replenish it.

For your convenience, we provide clean bedding, some towels, all cooking, kitchenware, and cleaning supplies, games, and more. Each side of the camper pulls out with two large beds that could comfortably fit two adults per bed. In addition, the couch and dinette convert into small beds.

Your home away from home (in nature) is waiting!

What's included

We have tried to think of it all to make your camper experience full of fun and relaxation! If you think any additional items would make this a more enjoyable experience, please let us know.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL DIRTY LAUNDRY, RUGS NEEDING TO BE WASHED, AND DISHES NEEDING ADDITIONAL CLEANING SHOULD BE LEFT OUT OF STORAGE AND IN A TRASH BAG ON THE FLOOR OF THE CAMPER. TURF AND RUGS SHOULD BE SHOOK OUT BEFORE RETURNING IF YOU TOOK HER ON A TRIP.

Want the Fort DeSoto Glamping Experience?
We deliver, set up the awning, the beds, provide four camping chairs, and more. We even make your bed, just remember your pillows! When you’re done we come back and take it all down. All you have to do is get your coolers, food, and pack your bag! Choose the “Glamping Experience” add-on when booking. 3-day minimum.

Never used a pop-up camper? You can also add the option to have us pop it up and take it down for you. See add-on option.

Recommendations

1. Fort De Soto Park Beach is ranked Number 1 for Best Family Beaches by VisitFlorida.com! We love coming here with family or with other couples. This area features a historic fort, seven-plus miles of waterfront with almost three miles of beautiful, white-sand beach, boat launch, playgrounds, two large swim centers at the North Beach Swim Center, two fishing piers (each with food and bait concession), Ferry Service to Egmont Key, Concession/Snack Bar/Souvenir Shop, Quartermaster museum, Asphalt recreation trail (bring your bike or rollerblades!), canoe/kayak trail, and a nature trail! You can get sunrise and sunset in this area since it is on a peninsula.

2. St. Petersburg / Madeira Beach KOA Holiday Campground is also a great location because you are located near the city's hustle and bustle but you are also secluded on the shoreline of a mangrove-fringed bayou that takes you out to the gulf. Staying here gives you access to their endless activities all year round! Summer campers enjoy outdoor movies, themed weekends, and fishing right from the dock. Winter campers can enjoy a wide array of classes, including water aerobics, yoga, quilting, and painting. Campground amenities include two hot tubs (their newest edition is a private area just for adults!), a crystal clear outdoor pool, sand volleyball court, and a shuffleboard court. Free WiFi service is included in your stay. This campground is near some of our favorite beach and bar activities including John's Pass Boardwalk, Madeira Beach, Treasure Island, and more. You are also near popular Downtown St. Pete and the Tampa Bay Rays baseball stadium. If you plan to stay here ask about our restaurant and bar recommendations!

3. Clearwater / Lake Tarpon KOA Holiday Campground is situated in a tropical setting between Tarpon Springs and Clearwater, Florida. Here you can experience the famous Greek Sponge Docks and charming beach communities. There are many options for swimming, fishing, and boating, both freshwater and saltwater. Golf lovers have a challenging selection of golf courses including 4 championship courses at Innisbrook Golf Resort. You can also explore several local museums and aquariums. This campground is also near Brooker Creek Preserve and the famous Pinellas Trail, a linear parkway perfect for a casual stroll or for competitive bicycle enthusiasts. This campground offers a tropical pool and cabana area complete with new laundry equipment and fresh bathrooms with showers. Free WiFi service is included in your stay.

Other things to note

• Great for a driveway or backyard rental if you have guests staying at your home or if you're a guest staying at a friend/family member's home!
• Available for towing to take on your camping vacation. Towing weight is 1,839 lbs (As a benchmark, we got 13 average mpg in our Dodge Truck). The hitch is 2" with 7 pin trailer connector.
• Other amazing Florida locations include the Florida Keys, natural springs (Ginnie Springs is our favorite for an adult party or Blue Springs with the kids), Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, or other areas like Thonotosassa, Ocala, or Destin, Florida.

Meet your host, Jessica

Member since 2021

Hi! I’m Jess and my partner is Daniel Freeman (we will both be helping with your rental!). Being outdoors, camping, hiking, boating, traveling, and adventuring are what fills my soul. I had so much fun renovating our camper and I hope that it brings joy to more people as it does me. Nothing is better than popping up and chilling in nature for a weekend, a week, or longer.

The hosts were very responsive and attentive.
The unit is older & we were not able to use the sink. HOWEVER, they did provide a dish rack , soap and sponge so we would’ve been able to wash dishes if we needed to.
The unit was stocked with everything we needed to make the stay as comfortable as possible

What an awesome experience! This camper was perfect. It includes everything you need, was spotless and perfect for a girls glamping weekend! We had the best time, and Jessica was super easy to work with and very helpful! She added little extra touches that made our weekend so special. We will definitely be renting again in the future! Thank you!

Our trip was great. The camper was all set up, a minor issue was handled within 30 miinutes. The AC was cold, and the camper was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend.

Jess and Dan are great! All around good people and easy to work with through the entire booking process. Super laid back and flexible. Camper was very well organized and had lots of pre-packed items plus glamping touches to make our stay like home. Jessica even provided links to two Google docs she prepared detailing where everything is located in the camper as well as a step by step of how to set things up. It was helpful having a guide to show us which keys went to which locks, for example. And she even offered an optional walkthrough in person on how to pop up the camper in case we were unsure on any of the logistics. Thanks guys, for doing business this holiday weekend! We really enjoyed our stay.🏕️

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
If you'd like to rent the RV to go further than Pinellas County, you will need to pick it up from our home. If you don't have experience raising a pop-up, we will also spend some time with you to show you how to do it and take it down, as well as hook up your vehicle. Experience backing in a trailer and driving with a trailer is required for your safety. All tires (including the spare) will be checked/filled prior to your departure.

Q.Why don't you allow festivals and tailgating?
A.
It's not that we don't allow it, it is more that we don't recommend it. Since we don't have a functioning bathroom and require a power hook-up, a festival or tailgating experience would not be much fun.
