Camper is in need of some repairs however the main frustration was the lack of prep. Camper was very dirty and likely put away wet as it reeked of mildew. Had to go get febreeze and air it out before setting up inside and both propane tanks were empty so no cooking, no heat. Got my own electric heater. No jack rod to jack up the stands and level, had to use my car jack. Tags expired. Might be a better experience if you have it set up but you will want to check things before you get cozy and want to cook.

Everything was just fantastic from the communication, to the pop-up itself. Lucas made everything so easy from his video, to his responsiveness, to the cleanliness. One of the best rentals we've had. My family will definitely be looking to rent from Lucas again as a 1st choice.

Great camper for a 1996 pop up. It came with everything you need, so if there was something we forgot it was in the camper. Owner was straightforward about the crank needing to be secured a certain way and it was easy to discuss the zipper issues with the awning case. Also has a nice YouTube video of how to set up.

The camper does not live up to the description, not like new. Will not use again.

It is a vintage camper which may be appealing to some, but it is not new. All the amenities that came in the camper work as intended and I have also recently renovated it, which is why I say it looks and performs like new in the description. I’m sorry you were disappointed despite my repeated efforts to make you happy.

What a great experience using lucas pop up camper . This is an older camper but he has done alot of work to keep it in great shape. It was very clean . It rained 1 night and we stayed nice and dry.

This was our first time camping with a pop up. We wanted to still have the feel of tent camping with just a smidge more comfort and amenities. Lucas delivered on a timely manor and was quick to respond to my messages. Everything is in working condition and described and also came with lots of “kitchen” extras so whatever I forgot, he had and it saved us a trip. The king size beds were a plus and it slept myself and my husband with our three kids comfortably. We will definitely be using this service in the future. :)

We had a great time with our camper and Mr Lucas was always available to answer any questions about the unit. The camper was delivered on time and he was very kind, professional and very pleasant to deal with. The unit was NOT brand new, but it was everything we needed and wanted. Thank you Lucas and looking forward for the next time we need a pop-up camper.

We had a great time in this popup camper. It was clean and comfortable. I was very surprised at how big and roomy the camper was. It’s hard to find a comfortable camper for 4 adults. But the 2 king size beds were perfect for a party of 4. Lukas delivered the camper and set it up on time. A/C works great! We had no problem at all. BTW I saw the past review and decided that some (self entitled) people cannot be pleased no matter what they get. So we reserved the camper and I’m so glad we did. I’ve already talked to Lukas about renting the camper again next year. We Loved Our Stay - Highly Recommended.

Easy to pickup and drop off trailer. Youtube video referenced during pickup made setup and tear down a breeze!
Towed easy behind hybrid highlander (3500lb towing). For about 70 miles 1 way.
Unit was clean and no smells when setting up upon arrival at camp site. Was a great first rv experience for kids!
Didn't use stove or sink to comment functionality.
Ac and fridge worked well.

Per contract, we rented the pop up from Mon 1pm to Thursday 11AM. Owner Lucas texted me Thursday at one o’clock in the morning and said he needed us to be out by 8AM. He texted me again @7:30 and said we could stay till 9:30.
We paid to have the pop up delivered, Lucas neglected to set up the 4 support legs. He texted me that we would need to do this, but that one leg was broken. The pop up shook with every little movement inside. We were not given keys to the unit, and the door handle was broken.
We paid a mandatory cleaning fee, yet the unit was dirty…..mold in the fridge, dirt and dead bugs in the cabinets, hair on the couch cushions, and dirt on all the hard surfaces. I had to clean the inside before we could put our belongings inside.

I am sorry you didn’t have an optimal experience with my camper, my apologies for it not being as clean and prepared as I normally leave it. The renters in the spot before you left late, and left me with no time to set it up, which is also why I missed putting the support legs down, my apologies. The camper is on two wheels so it might shift a little, but I assure you it is completely safe. You don’t need the keys to the unit because I left it unlocked for you, and I’ve never had any issues with the door handle. I always ensure to leave the fridge open while in storage, but I didn’t have time to check everything because of the last renters leaving late, so I apologize if there was mold. you never responded to any of my texts so I didn’t know when you were even seeing them. Only the contract between you and Fort Desoto says you have the campsite until 11pm, I am not affiliated with Fort Desoto, and need time to pack down before the 11am mark. You are welcome to stay in the campsite while I pack down, but I hope you can understand you can’t be inside the camper until checkout time.

Lucas responded quickly, trailer was delivered on time and picked up. Yes, its' a little old but it did the job. We were there on a weekend where there were strong winds and rains and the little trailer did it's job. No complaints and would rent again.

Lucas delivered the older model pop up to Ft. Desoto for us. Water was not hooked up. When we entered, there was a strong musty smell. We needed to unzip all the window covers and air it out. Camper appeared clean, except for very dirty AC vents. Cutlery was minimal. Beds were OK. It was a dry place to sleep for 2 nights.

Great little camper! Really made the weekend trip to Ft. Desoto very comfortable. The air blows cold cold which made my wife very happy. I would definitely rent from Lucas again. Trailer has a 7 pin connector and not a 4 flat for the lights.

All set up and ready when we arrived. Nice cold air. Very clean and well taken care of. The fridge wasn’t the coldest but can use. Held up extremely well in the 2 storms that passed through. Thought we might be in OZ when we stepped outside. Lol. Would definitely rent this camper again

Lucas was great, and the camper is adorable, clean, and nicely outfitted. It is in great condition, and bright and spacious. We camped with another couple, and it was great to have 2 king beds! We had a wonderful camping trip!

This was our first time renting a camper. Lucas was AMAZING!! His camper was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. He delivered the camper to our site and completed set up which was awesome!! Such a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend!!
