The campground is in a scenic area that is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the many attractions in the vicinity. All of the sites for campers have electric and water hookups that meet accessibility standards. In addition, there are laundry facilities on the premises. The campground has a playground for families, a boat ramp for easy access to the lake, showers, and a group picnic shelter. This is a great place to have a wonderful time on the water of Old Hickory Lake, a 22,500 acre reservoir. Swimming and sailing on the lake is an enjoyable way to spend some time with the entire family. There are white-tailed deer, migratory song birds, and waterfowl flying around the area. This is an excellent place for people interested in birding and wildlife photography.

Lebanon is due east of Nashville and an ideal location for venturing into Nashville, Murfreesboro, and other areas of central Tennessee. The Smokey Mountains are less than 2 hours away as well. Guests at Shady Acres are only minutes away from local dining and shopping in Lebanon. Shady Acres will provide a smaller, intimate RV camping experience away from the hustle and bustle of some of the other Nashville RV camps.
