Information About Fort Worth, TX

For a true cowboy experience, rent an RV and trek to Fort Worth. An incredibly historical trading post for cowboys in the 19th century, it has exploded in growth over the last 100 years. It is in fact the 5th largest city in Texas, with a population nearing one million people. Fort Worth experiences mild climates all year round, though the summer months are extremely hot. For a more comfortable trip, try a visit in March or April when the temperatures are on the tamer side, yet still pleasantly warm. Much of the attraction of Fort Worth is based around the great outdoors, so it is definitely worth noting the zoo and botanical gardens. Both destinations offer flora and fauna in spades, and the zoo was actually ranked in the top ten in the US. Adrenalin junkies will be right at home at the Texas Motor Speedway which hosts several NASCAR events yearly. It seems this cowboy town has much more to offer than its Country Western roots.
