The Great Outdoors

There's a lot to do outdoors when you go RV camping at Junction North Llano River RV Park. South Llano River State Park is located just south of the town of Junction and offers a wide range of fun and exciting recreational activities to take advantage of. This is a great place to take a dip; the river is relatively slow and safe to swim in. It's also an ideal place for beginner tubers or paddlers. Rental inner tubes are available on-site, and kayaks and canoes can be rented in the town of Junction. You can also fish in the river without a license. On land, bikers and hikers can access over 22 miles of trails. Trails range in difficulty, with options for beginners as well as more ambitious hikers. This park is also a great place for bird watching and is home to a huge turkey roost.The Devil's Sinkhole State Natural Area is also easy to visit when you book an RV rental in Kimble County. This fascinating natural attraction is home to approximately three million bats, which emerge on warm summer nights. While you can't enter the sinkhole, you can take a tour to learn more about these incredible animals. The park also offers guided birding tours during the day, as well as guided motorcycle rides.Kickapoo Cavern State Park is 90 minutes' drive southwest of Junction and also offers bat tours during the summer. This state park also has several caves, some of which you can explore with guided tours. Visitors can access a great selection of hiking and biking trails, some of which have beautiful panoramic views. Hundreds of bird species pass through the area every year, making Kickapoo Cavern State Park a popular place for bird watching.

Exploring The Area

How does check-in work?

Once an Owner approves your RV reservation, you can coordinate a time to pick up your rig or have it delivered to your doorstep or campsite. At that point, the owner will do a key exchange with you and walk you through the RV and answer any questions you might have.
