This was an excellent experience. Ia. Was such a cool dude, and easy easy to work with. Made sure I understand how the RV works. The Rig is in great shape for its age, and runs like a top! I look forward to working with Ian again on future trips! 10/10 all around. Thanks!!!!

I rented Ian's Winnibago RV in July 2023 for 23 days. His RV deserves clearly a 5 star rating. Everything was working, all well organised and very clean. I would of course rent Ian's RV again and can only recommend it to new renters. Also, Ian is a great guy, very helpful and always positive.

We had a fantastic time in Ian’s RV. We were two adults and three children. We traveled to 5 different national parks over three weeks. We had absolutely no problems with the RV or the owners. We experienced everything from 100+ temperatures to snow. Ian was always quick to respond.

The owners were incredibly responsive. The RV itself was well maintained, well-stocked, and very drivable. There were a couple of minor issues, one with the generator which turned out to be operator error, and a second with the ABS indicator light coming on. Not only was the owner extremely responsive, he reached out to Outdoorsy RA who were also very helpful with advice. While we did end up cutting our trip short by one day, we were never in any danger and felt extremely well-connected and well cared for.

My son and I just spent a 30 day trip of a lifetime in this RV touring the west. First, the communication with Ian start to finish was spectacular. The RV is a 2008, but ran perfectly for 30 days straight. The size is ideal as you can park in most parking lots. It is very easy to drive. I highly recommend both Ian and this RV if you are searching - don’t be afraid of the age of this RV - it is in GREAT shape.

Excellent experience renting with Ian and Mike, would definitely rent again. The RV drove great all around Colorado for our week long adventure and was very nicely outfitted. The hook ups are easy to use as well. Ian responded immediately when we had a question (only one as the RV is really user-friendly).We were rookie RV'er's so here are a few things we learned along the way.
- We booked campsites with amenities and only ended up using the RV shower 3 times all week. Using the shower quickly fills up the grey water tank so keep that in mind if you are "boondocking". Seriously, one (female) shower and dinner time dishes filled it up to 3/4.
- Pack your shower shoes for the campsite bathhouses and some sort of tote/bag for your loot.
- It wasn't advised to use the water tank for drinking/coffee, we bought a big jug of water and kept it under the sink, worked great.
- There were cooler temps in the evenings and mornings and we spent a lot of time in the camper (no camp fires allowed)...this is a MAX 2-person camper if you are stuck inside.
- If you are an adult, and plan to sleep on the fold out couch for several days, consider bringing a yoga mat or foam mattress, it isn't flat. I shoved a blanket in the crevasse, it helped a bit.
- Bring your blue tooth speaker if you want to get your jam on.
- There isn't a whole lot of wardrobe storage, one of us unpacked and used the wardrobe, I lived out of my bag and moved it around the camper a lot.
- When you hook up the sewer hose connection you don't have to get too carried away screwing in the adapter, just set it over the hole and put a rock on it. We ended up cross threading it and breaking it, Wal-Mart surprisingly has an excellent selection of common RV parts.
- If you use the generator, and want to use the microwave, make sure the electrical cable is plugged into the camper outlet in the cable stowage area.
- Some campsites have breaker switches on the electrical connection boxes, make sure these are ON.
- If you travel to Ouray, CO I HIGHLY recommend the 4J RV park, the location is 100%. Take the Parameter Trail to Box Canyon (free access this route) and walk to the end of the RV park, by the City Utility shop and take the foot bridge over the river to the Hot Springs.

We went on a Western adventure to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone! We literally experienced every season from Winter to Summer while we explored Wyoming. We braved 50+ mph wind gusts with snow and ice in Flaming Gorge to 80 degree sunny days and forest fires completely blocking the sun in Northern Colorado.
We survived that wind and snowstorm without any power for almost 3 days with the LP and generator at Buckboard Marina. We drove mountain switchbacks through Yellowstone and much of Wyoming and we were able to navigate many of the attractions with ease.
We kept communication with Mike and Ian and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. We also appreciated having many of the items we needed for the trip waiting for us in the RV!
Our little guy liked the camper so much he cried when we pulled away! We’ll definitely miss the trusty Winnebago View!

We had a great trip in the View. It was the perfect size for our family of four. We loved having a kitchen and bathroom for our use. We booked it well before the current virus but it was a good send as we could be as self sufficient as we wanted to be.
The RV is in great shape and we loved it!

We had a great week in Ian's RV and would highly recommend booking with him. The RV ran great and was ideal for our family of 4. Great communication and easy to work with. We had both hot and cool conditions on this trip and the AC and heat worked nicely. I would certainly rent this RV again.

Ian was awesome to work with always making sure to be in communication with mefrom pre rental throughout. The unit although being older drove and operated like it was new. Excellent power and very roomy. This was an overall great experience for my first ever trip to the area. I would not hesitate for a second to rebook if ever to come back

My wife and 15 month old son took a fantastic trip up to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. The camper was perfect for our trip. As the driver, I enjoyed the experience much more than I expected. The RV has plenty of power and for me felt like driving an SUV or pickup. On top of the great performance, we had all the space we needed for storage and to live comfortably on the road. Mike and Ian were also great. They gave us all the time we needed to get comfortable with the RV, answered the few questions we had while out on the road and were a pleasure to work with. When we have another trip, we'll very likely do the exact same thing again. Thanks!

Excellent renter, it was a pleasure to have dealt with them. They made our trip that much more enjoyable. Communication was great from the very start and they were always available with any questions during the trip. The rv itself was very clean and in great shape and very well equip, had everything we needed and more. It was in great mechanical shape, I’m a mechanic and can assure that everything was up to snuff. The turbo diesel has great power to navigate the mountains of Colorado and yet excellent fuel economy. The rv drove and handle like a dream, super easy to drive. My two trip mates who had never driven an rv had no problems handling it. All the mechanical systems worked perfect and were very easy to use. Long story short the rv was great and our trip was awesome.

This was our first experience with Outdoorsy and it couldn't have been with a better host or better vehicle. Ian and Mike were friendly and accommodating which made the experience very comfortable (especially traveling with two kids). The van itself drove like a dream and made discovering Colorado very easy. Overall a fantastic trip, we highly recommend them!!

Our first Outdoorsy experience could not have gone better. This vehicle is in great shape for it's age. We were able to see the Rocky's and Yellowstone and survived without electric/water hook ups every night. It's the right size for a family of 4 or 5 and could fit a 6th, but it's still small enough so it didn't feel like I was driving a boat. Communication was great from beginning to end. I felt as if I was treated as a valued customer by the owner. Really happy we decided to do this, it was great trip!

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! This vehicle is falsely advertised. It’s a 2008, NOT a 2010 as listed. We know this because of all the mechanical problems we had with it. Within six hours of our trip the check engine light came on. We contacted the owners and they told us to “contact roadside assistance". Turned out to be 3 quarts low on oil. You'd think with us disclosing upfront that we'd be putting 4000 miles on the vehicle, they'd at least change the oil. They didn’t have a problem increasing our security deposit after we discussed going over the daily mileage. We also noticed the vehicle would drastically lose power at times. We thought it was the transmission, but since we weren’t “broke down”, we reluctantly proceeded on. On day two, I made the mistake of putting gas in a diesel motor. BAD MISTAKE ON MY PART! We've never traveled to the East Coast and found out at BP gas stations, gas comes out of green handled dispensers and black handle dispensers, dispense the diesel. This is exactly opposite from where we’re from. It was an honest mistake and I felt horrible about it. We contacted the owners right away and let them know what happened. I committed we'd do everything to make this right mechanically, financially and morally. We had it towed to an authorized repair shop. The owners requested the shop not communicate with us since they owned the vehicle. After a lack of communication, we had to go to the repair shop to find that out and that it had new problem. Glad we did because the reason the vehicle was losing power was because it had a cracked turbo line. The mechanic assured us it had nothing to do with the gas mistake, but said the owners were trying to say it was related to the gasoline problem. The mechanic showed us the diagnostic computer tests for the cracked turbo line and proved it happened before we even got the vehicle. Due to this new problem, it would be 4 more days we were out of the vehicle. The mechanic offered to put used parts on the vehicle and get us on the road. We didn't feel that was ethical to do to someone else's vehicle, so we declined the offer. The owners didn't want to acknowledged the cracked turbo line, but they knew we talked to the mechanic. I made sure we took care of everything mechanically and financially related to the gas problem. After all that, the owners wouldn’t refund any money for the 4 days we weren't allowed to be in the vehicle for a problem that we didn't cause. I didn't expect them to refund any money for the 5 days we were out of it due to the gas problem I caused, but out of the 13 days we rented the vehicle, we were only in it for 4 days. Additionally, they wouldn’t agree to not charge us a late fee after we committed to stay there until the vehicle was fixed and to make sure we brought the vehicle back. To top it off, they kept our entire security deposit which was more than the mileage we put on because there was a headlight out when we returned. We drove almost 26 hours straight to get home without a late fee or affect their next booking. Outdoorsy even offered to get us a new rental vehicle to get us home. We could've left these people high and dry with their vehicle abandoned 2000 miles away, but we didn't to fulfill our commitment to make this right every which way. These people had the audacity to try to pillage us for everything they could get out of us, and took advantage of a family that was already down on their luck.I will say that the company outdoorsy itself was great to work with. Once they found out that the vehicle had a mechanical problem that was out of our control and a preexisting condition, they intervened and took very good care for us. We will be using outdoorsy in the future and I would highly recommend using outdoorsy to others, but we will NEVER rent from these unethical and immoral owners again.

We had a fantastic time with the Winnebago View! Ian was easy to work with, responsive and helpful. Everything was exactly how it looked in pictures. We found ourselves shopping for a camper because we felt so confident and comfortable from the thorough instructions Ian gave us! Would definitely rent from them again.
