Great experience with this rental camper! Excellent communication throughout the trip. David thoroughly explained all instructions which helped give me the confidence to successfully haul the camper. He was very good about guiding me out of the storage space when I picked it up and also while I parked it upon my return. Camper was very spacious and had all of the necesities for a 4 day trip. Five people slept very comfortably. I would highly recommend this rental camper.

David did an excellent job communicating in advance of our rental and even checked in during our stay to make sure all was in order! The camper was perfect for our family, plenty of space, came with everything we needed and all worked perfectly! Zero issues whatsoever. David obviously takes great care of the camper. We’re looking forward to renting from David again!

This travel trailer was perfect for our family of four and dog. The beds were comfortable and we were plenty warm in the freezing temps. David dropped off the trailer at the agreed time and was very informative about setting it up. David was extremely easy to communicate with and friendly.

My overall rating for the camping trip with the use of the trailer is a three star rating. The camper itself is of good quality and has beautiful modern finishes that can accommodate a family of five or six.I’m giving it this rating because of an experience I had at pick up.Later that day when I got home I received a message from David about a cleaning fee for the camper in regards to the stove and microwave. He explained that there were bits and pieces and grease in the stove filter and the stove top, also that the microwave had splatter in it. I would’ve gladly cleaned those things at pick up if that was what was troubling him. His reply was that it would take more than 15 minutes to clean that stuff up. He said he also needed to clean the grease out of the vent of the air conditioner and the vent for the stove. He explained he was bummed about doing that after I asked him if he was angry.Some of the questions that I had before the trip were of items and things that might be needed during the course of the camping experience. David replied very quickly about those things. However each thing was an up charge that I asked him about and I was not interested in having to spend more money than they already $135 per night plus the insurance for the trip. The charges would’ve been the use of a small generator at $40 a night, and the use of bed linens pots pans etc. for $45. It adds up when you add all those factors in. I just felt like the cleaning charge was one of those up charges I couldn’t avoid.

Karen, I'm sorry you disagree with the modest cleaning fee. I want all of my guests to get that same "new trailer" experience that you did. That cleaning fee is based on the effort required to return the trailer to the condition in which you received it. I pride myself on delivering a spotless trailer so the renter doesn't have to worry about cleanliness. For your nightly fee, I delivered to you a new, spotless trailer and told you, as I tell all my renters: "Return it like you got it, and all will be well." Instead of nearly spotless, you returned a trailer that had clearly been heavily used to fry large meals beyond expected family camping use. After your rental, I spent a good 3 hours cleaning grease and food residue out of the stove top, various filters and vent covers, and wiping down ceilings and walls so that the next day's renter would not have to experience the grease smell. As far as upcharges are concerned, an external generator, linens and cook/serving ware are common optional additions. At no point were you coerced or tricked into accepting any options you didn't want, so in fact you paid nothing additional. The cleaning fee was not a hidden upcharge, but an additional fee necessitated by your actions.

This was a great trip thanks to Dave and the availability of his trailer. Dave was very responsive to questions and was of great help getting me on the road on pick up day. I’m a rookie trailer hauler so his patience and helpfulness were greatly appreciated. The trailer was great as well. It has plenty of space and the bunkhouse was a hit with my son. Oh, and it’s brand new so it’s super clean and still has that new car smell. I look forward to renting from Dave in the future for sure.
