Willard Bay State Park is a freshwater reservoir located just a short drive north of Ogden. Surrounded by the Great Salt Lake on one side and Farmington Bay on the other, this is a gorgeous place with spectacular views. Explore the island by hiking, horseback riding, or mountain biking. The sandy beach is perfect for swimming and picnicking. On the island, you can see free-range bison, mule deer, bighorn sheep, pronghorn (antelope), and many other desert animals. There are also millions of birds on the island, mostly migratory species. Bring your camera for amazing photo opportunities or stay at one of the primitive campsites for a night under the stars in this scenic park.Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge is a beautiful park that every nature lover camping at Brigham City / Perry South KOA should visit. The park is nestled around Bear River which flows into the Great Salt Lake and features large freshwater marshes surrounded with desert land. Over 250 species of migratory birds move through the refuge throughout the year. Some of the species you can find here are white-faced ibis, American white pelican, snowy plover, cinnamon teal, tundra swan, and much more. This refuge is a great place for fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, photography, bird watching, and environmental education.

Exploring the City

Book an RV rental in Perry, and you can see all the interesting attractions of the northern part of Utah. When you're RV camping at Brigham City / Perry South KOA, you're just minutes away from Millstream Classic Car Museum. This amazing place has around 50 restored cars, dating back to the '60s, '70s, and '80s. The oldest car in the museum is a 1912 Model T Ford vehicle, which inspired T. Jackson Smith to open the museum. Some of the rare makes and models you can see here include Hudson, Nash, Lloyd, Yugo, and Fiat.Golden Spike National Historical Park is located in the eastern part of Box Elder County. This historical park marks the merging point of the first Transcontinental Railroad, where the Central Pacific Railroad and the first Union Pacific Railroad met. This meeting of two major railroads was so important that the ceremonial Golden Spike was driven to celebrate the convergence.The water park north of Honeyville is an incredibly unique place where you can soak, swim, and enjoy all the health benefits that come along with the hot spring pools. There are several different pools of various depths, sizes, and temperatures, as well as a few waterfalls. Water slides add some fun to this visit. Inside the park, you can also visit a snack bar when you get hungry and need a quick rest.
