Meet your host, Kenneth

My wife and I are new to the RV world and we are starting out with a couples trailer that we can tow easily with our Tacoma pickup. We have a couple small dogs that enjoy the outdoors and we all love going out and having fun in the great outdoors here in the North West. We wanted to share our RV with others in the area. Our hope is that if you take our trailer out that you will enjoy it as much as we do. The first thing that we did was upgrade the mattress to a very nice memory foam (about 10,000% better than the mattress that came with the trailer). Check us out and make some great memories seeing this beautiful country. Ken & Tomi.

This is a 2021 Palomino Solaire. It is a super light trailer at 4380 lbs dry, so most SUV's and light trucks can pull it with ease. It has a King (70 by 80) bed which is 10 inches wider than most of your queen beds, and that extra bit of room for two is nice. The sofa pulls out to make a bed for two more, perfect if you have kids. Nice big kitchen with lots of counter space. This also has a 10 c.f. frig. frez. combo so there is plenty of room for food. The bathroom is a good size with plenty of room. And the shower is great. I am 6'-1" and fit in it just fine. And with 40 gals of fresh water, if you are somewhere that you can't connect to city water, it will last you several days even with showering. Plenty of storage space. Nice big awning for covered outdoor space. You can take the table out and have nice outdoor meals. This will make for a wonderful camping experience for a couple or small family.

We drove from Vancouver WA to the Redwoods near Crescent City CA. Camped with hook-ups for a few days while exploring there. Then drove up the coast to the Siletz River in OR where we dry camped for a few days. About 900 miles in all. We drove a 2013 F150 3.5 L Ecoboost which easily towed the trailer. Ken provided a wheight distribution transfer hitch. The hitch was a big improvement over a standard ball. It pretty nearly eliminates any sway and evens out the bouncing. A rearview camera was provided which is very helpful. He even would have provided a generator but we chose to use our Honda 2200 because it runs on propane. It was the first time we used the generator for this purpose. It does take quite a while to charge the batteries off a 110 generator. All and all a great trip. The trailer was clean and well equiped and Ken was helpful and easy to work with.

Fantastic trailer! Everything worked well and the bed was amazingly comfortable. We were in a spot without hookups and we were thankful for the generator.

Kenneth is patient and accommodating. The trailer is near new. We didn't need to cook in it or watch the TV, so can't share about those things. A/C works fine. Heater too. We camped in high desert - which is hot during the day and cold at night. BRING EXTRA GAS for the generator. Speaking of which, Kenneth doesn't limit your hrs for generator use like most hosts. We didn't use it much, but it was nice to know we could if we had to. DD

We had never towed anything before let alone a trailer so it was a little overwhelming. However Kenneth was extremely relaxed and willing to go over all aspects from connecting the truck and trailer to Operation of the trailer.
