Rented Yertle for a family camping trip to Santa Cruz, Big Sur, and San Simeon… we had a blast! The van drove great and was easy to drive / maneuver. It was a little small for our family of 4 and storage inside is limited. Joshua was an excellent host! He walked us through all of Yertle’s many features and was very responsive any time we needed anything or had any questions. Thanks to Joshua and Yertle, our camping trip was a fun adventure we’ll never forget.

Awsome van! We enjoyed it very much. The fridge, stove, bathroom, plumbing, wifi, all worked great. The van was well supplied with cooking utensils, linens, even a few board games. Josh was friendly, explained all the systems in the van, and was always available for questions. We would love to rent again

Had a few challenges but the owner, Joshua, was actually willing to drive all the way to my location (3 hours!) to make it right. He was able to text us through to the solutions. We had a great time at Lake Cachuma, Ca.

This was our first ever RV trip and I think we were lucky to have chosen Yertle! Yertle was an easy drive up the California coast and provided perfectly comfortable lodging at the campsite. Josh was very thorough and very quick to address any questions or concerns we had.

We love Yertle!! She has everything you need for a trip. Took here to the cold mountains but we stayed warm & cooked meals with ease. Very easy to drive - drives like a new car! Her size is great because she can go in regular size parking spots. Top bunk is very roomy (I fit with my 2 kids comfortably). She has plenty of seatbelts for the whole fam. Highly recommend this van.

Don't be fooled by his age, Yertle was a wonderful RV to rent! Drove great with no problems at all and the owner was very helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend taking Yertle out for your next adventure. You wont be disappointed.

Joshua was very informative and available. The camper van is well stocked and maintained. Yurtle is easy to drive, comfortable and not fussy. This van may not be a good match for clean freak type. We loved our adventure and would rent again. Thank you!

Thanks so much, Stacie! I look forward to next time. I had a few days between bookings so I replaced the cracked bathroom mirror, fixed the scratches on the wood inside and corrected the peeled paint on the outside. Yertle looks great and is ready for your next adventure!

I'm from Germany, so I'm really picky. But I also didn't want to travel in a Mercedes Sprinter that your German local delivery driver uses. I wanted an authentic American RV van. And Joshua's Dodge did the job! And Joshua was fun to interact with. And he gives you good value for money and isn't in the game to squeeze the last cent out of you. Everything was very fair.

We grew fond of Yertle over the course of the trip. (Yes, this RV is named Yertle!). Do not fear, Yertle is not slow like a turtle, in fact his rebuilt engine got us up to 75 MPH on a few occasions of needing to pass other vehicles -- although I'd recommend staying at or below 65 in general. Mechanically, although this is an older RV, we had no trouble at all. Second gear, if you know how to use it right (i.e., don't go over 45 MPH) will save your brakes on windy roads with a downhill grade.

Perfect for our road trip! Josh is the best host, he goes above and beyond and is always available. Gas consumption was a bit steep but overall, amazing. Has great power, lots of storage space and is comfortable to sleep in. We absolutely would renr again

The pickup from Josha was easy and informative, he walked me through the many functions and capabilities of Yertle, the RV. Driving up the coast was a beautiful experience, the van is very easy to drive and has great pickup and go. Everything I needed was at my fingertips, Yertle is well equipped to allow for ultimate comfort at the campsite or in a clutch, at a Costco parking lot. I would recommend this RV to anyone looking to get out and see the California coast and surrounding areas. Very easy to park this size RV--when larger vehicles were not allowed at city parks or other parking venues, Yertle (only 19ft long) was permitted. Having running water, a sink and flushing toliet in such a compact space made my trip so enjoyable. While Yertle is an older RV, it's in great condition, runs well and full of all the amenities you will find usually in larger vehicles.

Yertle is a great RV to drive. The mirrors and reverse-view camera made driving in L.A. traffic and parking around town very smooth. The engine has LOTS of power, even up some very steep roads. At the campsite, it was comfortable to sleep in and the solar generator/Nespresso machine were very useful because our site had no hookups. Our kids made great use of the on-board WiFi, too!

Amazing experience with Yertle! We took him up to Santa Barbara for the weekend, and had a blast. The running water was so convenient, and the beds were very comfortable. Thanks so much Josh and Yertle! Hope to see you again soon :)

Yertle was great! Equipped with everything you need for a solid van camping experience.

The solar battery charges all electronics with no issues.

Yertle is an old van and could use some updates cosmetic-wise, but is very functional and got us from A to B! I was 7 months pregnant on our trip and was able to ride 1500+ miles over the course of a week without problems! Josh is a GREAT host- he was very responsive to our questions, helpful, and easy going! Great van to rent for the money! :)

Thanks Again, Tyler! I finally got some time between bookings and had the cracked windshield replaced, door handle trim replaced, new shower curtain installed and painted the rear cargo door. Yertle had a rough rental season last year, but he is refreshed and has some new amenities for 2021 like a mini-waffle maker and windshield-mounted cell phone holder. I look forward to your next rental with baby Zion!

This was our first time driving/using an RV and Yertle was absolutely flawless on our trip up the coast. Furnace kept us warm on some cold nights and no problems with water or the bathroom. The van's hotspot was extremely useful and we had service until we moved deep into the forest.

We took Yertle on a 5 day trip from LA to the Grand Canyon, stopping at additional points in between. Yertle had no issues and was the perfect vehicle for our trip. As two people, we had plenty of room and were very comfortable. We slept well and had everything we needed and more - usb ports, kitchenware, paper towels, clorox wipes, etc. Yertle was also clean and well maintained.

We had an absolutely incredible experience renting from Josh. Yurtle was incredible and we didn't have a single issue, including using chains in Yosemite due to snow. Everything you could need Josh has loaded into his vehicles, and he is always available if you need anything extra.

We rented Yertle for a week while we visited Joshua Tree and camped along the coast of SoCal. It met our needs and made for an adventurous trip. Yertle is a 20 year old van so has some signs of age but Is well maintained. Josh is a great communicator and immediately responded to any issues we had. We enjoyed living in this quirky van for a week and would definitely recommend it to others as an affordable camper van.

Very happy we came across Yertle for our recent 12 day road trip across California. He drove great, was comfortable, and had everything we needed! Much easier to drive than I was expecting (even through the windy roads of Sequoia NP). Josh was incredibly helpful prior to and throughout the entire trip, and was always prompt with his replies to any questions or concerns. The wifi was very convenient as we didn't have cell phone service while on our trip, and the backup camera was AMAZING and made things way easier. Yertle was instrumental in making our trip the great experience that it was, and I hope this review helps others enjoy California the way we did. Thank you Yertle and Josh!
