We had a blast

If you are an experienced RV user and also familiar with how Outdoorsy works, this RV and owner may be a good match for you. The RV itself is well-appointed, generally comfortable and easy to drive. And the owner, Jackie, is mostly friendly and eager to accommodate renters. She is, however, relatively new to RVing herself and unable to provide any real information or assistance with RV technical questions, including functioning and maintenance of the various systems. For the vast majority of questions we asked about the RV both before and during our trip (when we were having issues and needed assistance), we were advised by Jackie to “just Google it.” Her limited knowledge about her own RV makes it impossible to troubleshoot, which we found challenging as brand new RV users.

Additionally, I wasn’t confident that Jackie had a full understanding of her responsibilities as an owner operating through Outdoorsy. She failed to bring some or all of the required documents to both check in and check out and required my assistance in filling out portions of the paperwork (which were only even completed at my insistence). And, we didn’t discover until check out that there was supposed to have been a comprehensive training at check in, which we did not receive, but maybe could have helped us avoid or address some of the inevitable issues that would arise on our trip.

In short, if you’re an old pro at RVing and have been around the block a few times already with Outdoorsy and know what to expect, I’d say to give this RV a shot! Our family had a wonderful cross-country road trip. But if you’re new to RVing or think you might need a little assistance through any part of the process, it would be worth your while to keep looking.

Nice RV, It met or exceeded all our expectations. We we're rookies so, we had a little learning curve. Between Google and Jackie we were able to solve any issues we had. Thanks Jackie
