3/24/2020 During COVID-19 this campground will remain closed until further notice. . Evans Campground runs lengthwise along the lakeshore. One end is capped with the group sites and the boat launch. The other end is a Day Use Area with a covered picnic area and swim beach. The campground is busy in the summer and tends to fill on the weekends. Seasonally, rangers give evening talks at the amphitheater or telescope viewings in the field by the boat launch.
