Another great Outdoorsy rental! We enjoyed camping at Lake Tahoe for two nights and the van was comfortable and convenient. Tom was very responsive and provided a detailed overview at pick-up. We appreciated his flexibility with pick-up and return times. Great experience overall.

We were first time Class B users and it was a great experience. Tom explained the operation of the van very well. The van handled well on the road. Just like a passenger van. I think this van was a good introduction for us. We did not use the 2 bunks on the top.

We rented the van for 5 days to take a camping trip to Yosemite, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. It was our first time using a camper van, and Thomas was very thorough in explaining and demonstrating the features of the van. He was also available to address concerns as they arose on the trip. Luckily we didn’t have many! We had a fantastic time and highly recommend renting from Thomas.

Highly recommend Thomas and his RV! We took the camper to the Mendocino coast for a couple days. It was the perfect trip and RV for first timers. Everything was simple to use and easy to understand. The bed on the main floor as well as in the loft are extremely comfortable so you should have no problem having good sleep. Thomas also takes great lengths to walk you through the RV when you pick it up.

This trip was AMAZING! Thomas was a great host and made sure at every step of the way that we were taken care of. The van was amazing and super easy to use. Our 5 yo daughter had a blast! The gas mileage was amazing especially in this time period of high prices and the ride of the van was exceptionally smooth. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip! Thanks Thomas for a great ride!

Wonderful trip in the RV!! We spent the week in the redwoods and the RV was a great home base to take from campground to campground. 10/10 would recommend this RV. Renter was so helpful and made sure all of our questions and concerns were answered.

My two boys and I had the best Spring Break trip with Tom’s van. The loft bed was a hit with the boys! I loved the ease of moving from around as we explored campgrounds from Big Sur to Santa Cruz.

We had the absolutely perfect trip. Thomas’ van exceeded our expectations. It was precisely as advertised and Thomas was very flexible and easy to work with. My wife has back problems and she had none in the van. She said the seat was more comfortable than that in our Infiniti QX80. The beds were both very comfortable. We are used to firm tempur pedic beds and these felt similar. I was initially worried about the comfort of the back seat for our girl but she had no complaints at all. The van got good gas mileage (better than our Q) and we had no problem going into Yosemite for 6 days with no gas stations until we got out of the valley. We will rent from Thomas on our next trip to Cali.

The van was absolutely great--very clean and well equipped. Tom spent a good amount of time with us before we left, making sure we understood how to operate everything. We appreciated that everything worked well and that the van is relatively new (we chose to bypass a lot of very dated RVs we saw for rent). We also appreciated the generous miles, the fact that he included cleaning at no extra charge, and the fact that he wanted to know about things that broke—yet he was not looking to charge for things that broke from normal wear and tear. (His point was that he would rather know about things that were broken so he could fix them.) He also included camp chairs, all dishes and utensils, pots and pans, a coffee press, an extra camp stove (with propane), and there was no charge to replace the propane we used in the van or in the extra camp stove. This was a great experience and I will definitely rent from Tom again!

The RV was just what we needed to travel to Yosemite and around Sonoma county! For someone who had never traveled in an RV, the van was easy to maneuver and got good gas mileage. If going somewhere really hot, the AC in the cabin area doesn’t cool things very quickly or completely especially in the sleeping areas. There were a few minor repairs needed, but I know Thomas is addressing these. Thomas was wonderful to work with. He was very thorough during the check in process and I felt comfortable reaching out to him with questions throughout the process. I would definitely rent this van again if needed in the future!

Our family of four had a great time in Tom's van! He gave us helpful check out overview. The van was well stocked and felt safe and solid. Kids loved sleeping in the pop top and the bed in back was comfortable. The van was easy to drive up to Yosemite, camp, and then drive up to Touleme Meadows. Really appreciated how Tom was flexible. We'd rent from him again and we would rent the Hymer van again!

Great time in Tom's Van! He gave us a thorough check out and even included some last minute items we forgot to bring. The van was well stocked with everything you need. The van had new tires, balanced perfectly and alignment was spot on making driving a pleasure. We really liked the layout of the van. Although we didn't use the poptop for just the 2 of us, the bed in back was fully adequate. Tom was flexible about pick up and drop off which was very much appreciated especially when making the long trip back on the last day. We'd rent from him again!

This was an excellent experience. At pick up, the host took time to review all the functions of the vehicle and answered all the questions clearly and with patience. The vehicle was in great condition and clean, and the additional camping equipment supplied made it so I could just pick it up and go. Drop off was very easy as well. I recommend this rental to anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure!

We had a great time at Doran Beach in Thomas’s camper van! The bed is comfy, the kitchen is efficient, and somehow there was plenty of room for the three of us to hang out inside on a super windy evening. It’s easy to drive and park.

Thomas was fantastic. He made sure we fully understood how to operate all of the many functions in his camper. It was clean and he was very helpful overall. I had to text him while out about a small "how-to" and he was super responsive. He offered to facetime but his text directions were clear enough. Absolutely recommend.

This van was perfect for our family of four (two small kids). There was plenty of storage and it was easy to drive and park. Thomas was helpful and responsive anytime we had a question. The bench seating for the kids was not the most comfortable for our long drive and the lower bed is a bit tight if you are tall. Overall, this van is convenient and fun. We want to rent this again!

We had a great experience in Thomas's 2019 Hymer. The Hymer is the best of both worlds - an RV experience with a great bed, kitchenette, bathroom, and captain's swivel chairs without the size of a full RV so we could travel and easily park anywhere. And Thomas is extremely responsive. We had a skylight window we couldn't close, called him, and he called us back within 5 minutes to solve the problem. And when we had questions before picking up the Hymer he answered them all and very thoroughly within 24 hours.

We had a wonderful experience with the van. At 9.5 ft, it's easy to drive, and can pretty much go anywhere. The layout is open and clean. There's ample storage under the bed, and in the cabinets. We also enjoyed the modern finish. Sleeping at night was warm and comfortable. Our little girl had a great time hanging out at the Pop Top.

Tom's Hymer AKTIV Loft was in tip top condition and loaded with everything we needed except the food, bedding, towels and our personal items. Tom is an incredibly knowledgeable owner and was super generous in answering all our many questions before, during and after our trip. I can't think of a single thing he could have done to improve our experience. I highly recommend Tom and his terrific camper van where everything works perfectly.

We had a wonderful experience renting Tom's Hymer vehicle. Tom was very giving of his time explaining all the details of the vehicle which was very helpful. The Hymer was in exceptional condition and it drove like a dream; I thought I was just driving an SUV. Although we didn't use it, the loft feature enables 4 to sleep in the vehicle. The bed was very comfortable and the TV was nice to watch movies while we relaxed in the evenings. The bathroom toilet is equipped with a removable cartridge style cassette allowing easy dumping of wastewater. The fridge kept our food cold and the climate controls allowed us to live in comfort throughout our trip. I highly recommend booking this Hymer from Tom.
